Story[edit | edit source]
The game takes place before Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. The player is Kyle Katarn, previously a covert operative for the Imperial Army until he became bitterly disillusioned with the Empire, now a freelance agent who occasionally works for the Rebel Alliance. After Kyle completes their prologue mission and returns to his partner Jan Ors in their ship, the Moldy Crow, subsequent missions involve investigating and then stopping the Dark Trooper project.
