Animal Crossing: New Horizons/International Museum Day

The morning announcement.

The International Museum Day is an event held from May 18 to May 31. The fish, bug and fossil galleries in the Museum will each have three stamp stations. To get a stamp, find the station and interact with it. It will tell you a summary about the section you are in and then you're free to stamp your card.

Every island will have their stamp stations in a different part of the museum. There are designated spots where the station may appear and the stamp station locations are chosen randomly from those designated spots. Every day those stations change meaning you get a new stamp card and are able to interact with those stamp stations again.

Completing the Bug, Fish, and Fossil stamp cards rewards you with the Bug Plaque, Fish Plaque, and Fossil Plaque respectively. To claim your prizes, talk to Blathers once you have collected the three stamps from one of the sections and he will give you the corresponding plaque. You are able to collect multiple of these plaques if you complete the new stamp card you are given every day.

Bug Section[edit]

The stamp stations may appear in the following parts of the Bug Section:

Name How To Get There Description
Singing Forest After entering, walk straight ahead and the station will be there. If you listen closely, you can hear a faint hum...
It's so quiet at night...
Sun-Peek Path After entering, head North and then take the first left and the station is right in front of the stairs. There's something very relaxing about this space.
Shady Path After entering, head North past the path that goes left, and the station will be there right in front of the stairs. It seems like the temperate-climate bugs are relaxing here.
Giant Tree After entering, head North towards the giant tree. The station will be to the right of the giant tree. It seems the bugs gather for tree sap at night.
Is there going to be a big bug battle over the tree sap?!
Quiet Bench This station be in the flowery area. To get there, head straight then go up the stairs next to the water. The station will be in front of the bench. Sometimes it's nice to take a short breather and relax on the bench.
Dragonfly Bridge Head towards the giant tree and to the left will be a wooden bridge. The station will be in the left corner of the bridge. The reason you can see so many dragonflies near water is because that's where they lay their eggs!
Coconut Corner This station is right below the left side of the wooden bridge. I bet tropical bugs get to go surfing and lay out on the beach all the time.
Butterfly Garden This station is in the butterfly room. Just head straight after entering the Bug Section, and head into the entrance. The station will be in front of the fountain. Sitting on a bench at this fountain... is about as classy as it gets.
The Lab Go past the wooden bridge and into the entrance to the next room. Then from there, go up the stairs, and the station should be to the right, in front of the lab. I bet some groundbreaking research goes on here.
Bug Farms This station is in the same room as The Lab station. Go there, then head up the stairs, and the station will be on the left. It's like I'm part of a bug community. Hi, bugs!
Hiding Bugs This station is in the same room as The Lab station. Go there, then head all the way to the left and it will be to the right of the entrance leading to the Butterfly Room. Bugs: Masters of disguise!

Fossil Section[edit]

The stamp stations may appear in the following parts of the Fossil Section:

Name How To Get There Description
Mollusks/Arthropods This station is left of the Fossils Section entrance. No backbone. But still tough, I bet.
Vertebrates This station is right of the Fossils Section entrance. Now THESE guys have some backbone...
Aquatic Reptiles This station is located in the second room. It is on the left side, near the first 3 fossils. They should call this display "NOT Dinosaurs, Chapter One."
Pterosaurs This station is located in the second room. It is on the left side, right in front of the stairs. They should call this display "NOT Dinosaurs, Chapter Two."
Extinction Spot This station is located in the middle of the second room. To the right of the Diplodocus display. There's a blue circle in front of it. What's that big orb near the ceiling? I'm sure it's fine...
Synapsids This station is in the bottom right of the second room. To the right of the Juramaia Display. "Distant relatives of mammals." Huh.
Cenozoic This station is in the third room of the Fossils Section. It is to the right of the second room. The station will be next to the Sabertooth Tiger display. What are those silhouettes above and behind them?

Fish Section[edit]

The stamp stations may appear in the following parts of the Fish Section:

Name How To Get There Description
Serenity Tank After entering the fish section, go down to the small tank with fish, the station will be in front of that tank. Little guys, just chillin' in a little tank. Must be nice.
Headwaters This station is located in the top right of the first room. Different fish live in different parts of the same river. Wow!
Big River After entering the fish section, go to the tank that's furthest to the right. The station will be in front of that tank. Some rivers are deep, and wide, and looooooooooooooooooooooooong...
The Pond After entering the Fish Section, go past the Serenity Tank, and the station will be in front of the tank that's built into the ground. I feel like these guys are little aquatic athletes. Go, team!
The Coast After entering the Fish Section, go up and into the entrance to the second room. This station will be to the right of the tunnel that goes through the water. Must...not...let...fish...know...I'm...craving...sushi...
Coral Reef After entering the Fish section, go up and into the entrance to the next room. Head into the tunnel and go all the way up. The station should be on the glass floor in front of the coral reef tank. Oooh, a colorful, vibrant, warm sea. I want to swim here.
Icy Sea After entering the Fish section, go up and into the entrance to the next room. Go right, up the ramp, then go up the ramp around the Sea Butterfly exhibit. The station will be on that ramp in the corner. That's as chilly as it gets!
The Deep After entering the Fish section, go all the way to the right, then go through the entrance to the next room. Then from there, go down to the huge tank in the middle of the room. The station will be in front of that tank. That is one big ocean!
Abyss After entering the Fish section, go all the way to the right, then go through the entrance to the next room. From there, go all the way to the right, down the metal stairs, and the station will be at the bottom. How far down are we?
