Assuming you entered from the left exit, you will first encounter a set of small bouncing enemies which hop over a short pyramid by the exit. After you jump over the pyramid, you will walk through a flat section of desert. In this section are the giant ant-lions who raise their mandibles out of the sand in an effort to eat you, just as in the left portion of Route 39. Jump out of their way as soon as you see them rising up. After encountering three or four ant-lions, you'll reach another short pyramid with a bug on it. Jump over the pyramid to reach the right exit.
