Mission Mode is a seven-level game play mode. Here, eight missions and a boss battle must be completed to complete a level. The mission objectives range from collecting coins to fighting in boss battles, all on a variety of different race tracks and battle tracks. Just like in Grand Prix mode, the driver is ranked on how well they performed on a scale of E to three stars, E being the worst rank and three stars being the best rank.
