Route 9 is our next stop, far away from the previous locations. It requires quite the backtracing to discover and recall it: it's located east of Cerulean City! HM01 Cut is needed to access this route.

TM40 Aerial Ace is found on this route. Teach it to your favorite flying Pokémon, as it's a strong flying-type move that never misses.
