In the fourth cabin, you fight another Sailor and find TM44 (Rest).

Revision as of 16:42, 11 January 2009

This luxury liner is packed with Pokémon trainers from all over the world. It's also the place where you will get HM01 (Cut). Your best way through the ship is to start by heading to the right. There are many items hidden in this ship and plenty of opportunities to level up your Pokémon and become rich by fighting trainers, so don't make the mistake to rush right through to the Captain at the cockpit, because once you're there, the ship will leave the port and never come back.

Entrance Deck

When you first get in the boat, head down and go into the first cabin (the rightmost door of many) and fight the Gentleman you find within.

Room 1

Make your way through the other five rooms. Head to the third room, which hosts an angry old man.

Room 3

The next two rooms don't have anything particularly interesting in them. Head past them to the fifth room from right. Inside, there are a couple of young fighters. In addition, there is a TM31 (Brick Break) in the corner.

Room 5

Don't go up the stairs on the left side of the boat just yet. Continue on down and take the exit into the Kitchen. Inside, you can find a Great Ball in the lower left corner. Search the garbage bins to find a Pecha Berry, a Cheri Berry and a Chesto Berry. Now go back out and take the stairs up to the second level. Before checking all the cabins here, take the stairs in the right side of this deck to enter the lower deck.

Items Found

  • TM 31 Brick Break - Room 5
  • Great Ball - Kitchen
  • Pecha Berry - Kitchen
  • Cheri Berry - Kitchen
  • Chesto Berry - Kitchen

Lower Deck

First off,as you come down the stairs, take a look in the trashcan next to the stairs to find a very useful Hyper Potion. then, enter Room 1 and grab the Super Potion. In the next cabin, you'll begin battling.

Room 2

Head to the next cabin to the left. Inside, you will find another trainer and an Ether.

Room 3

In the fourth cabin, you fight another Sailor and find TM44 (Rest).

Room 4

In the fifth cabin, you fight the last two trainers on this deck.

Room 5

That's it for the lower deck. Now go up and head into the other direction.Head back up to the entrance level, and then take the stairs up to the second level. Before checking all the cabins here, take the next stairs up to the third level.

Items Found

  • Hyper Potion - Hallway
  • Super potion - Room 1
  • Ether - Room 3
  • TM 44 (Rest) - Room 4

Deck

After a straight walkway, you will arrive on the outside deck. Here, you get to fight two more Pokémon Trainers. Take in the fresh air and head back inside.

Second Level

There aren't any trainers in the first cabin, but if you want, you can get sight data for Snorlax (not that its going to make much difference later on in the game).afterwards, go into the second one; you will fight two trainers and find a Stardust.

Room 2

Head right into the fourth cabin, where you get an X Attack and face two trainers.

Room 4

The last two rooms don't have trainers or items in them, so you can skip them if you want. At this point, you should head back down to the first floor, and go to the second room to recover. After that, head back up to the second floor for your final battle on the boat.

Items Found

  • Stardust
  • X Attack
  • Snorlax Data, (not really an item, but, its there to be collected)

Rival Battle/ Learning Cut

As you head toward the stairs, you'll come across your rival yet again.

When you're done with your rival, head up the east stairs. Rub the captain's back and he'll give you HM01 (Cut). After you've made your final preparations and made sure you collected everything, leave the ship, and watch it set sail. Then head out to Vermillion Gym, now that you can get rid of that annoying bush in the way, and go compete for your third badge.
