Lise is a decent physical attacker and her spells can be quite useful. All of her final classes have five spells: four stat increasing or decreasing spells and a summon that hits all enemies on the screen. Her stat altering spells can be very useful, especially on bosses. Most of her summons can cause status effects in addition to damage.

Starting Class: Amazoness

Tech: Whirlwind Lance

Spells

  • None

She learns no spells until after her first class change. She has decent attack power.

First Class Change

Light: Valkyrie

Tech: Vacuum Surge Spear - Multi Target

Spells

  • Learns
    • Speed Up - Single Target
    • Protect Up - Single Target
    • Mind Up - Single Target
    • Power Up - Single Target

Choose the Valkyrie if you want to be able to raise your allies' stats. One advatnage to this choice is that other characters like Hawk (as a Ninja) and Carlie (as a Necromancer) can learn stat lowering spells, but nobody besides Lise can learn all these stat raising spells. If you use the Valkyrie along with a character that can lower stats, you can use both of their spells to make an enormous difference during boss fights.

Dark: Rune Maiden

Tech: Flying Heaven Spear - Multi Target

Spells

  • Learns
    • Speed Down - Single Target
    • Protect Down - Single Target
    • Mind Down - Single Target
    • Power Down - Single Target

Choose the Rune Maiden if you want to be able to lower your enemies' stats. On bosses this is more effective than using stat raising spells because you must cast the stat raising spells three times to hit all your allies, but stat lowering spells only need to be cast once.

Second Class Change

Light/Light: Vanadis

Requires Item: Briesingamen

Tech: Light Ball Spear - Multi Target

Spells

  • Starts with
    • Speed Up - Single Target
    • Protect Up - Single Target
    • Mind Up - Single Target
    • Power Up - Single Target
  • Learns
    • Freya - Multi Target

Unlike all of Lise's other final classes, the Vanadis has an impressive multi target tech. She also has the highest attack power out of all Lise's classes. Her summon turns enemies mini which makes them extremely easy to kill, but also makes them give 0 experience. It's only good for emergencies. Unfortunately, she cannot cast her stat up spells on all allies simultaneously like the Star Lancer can.

Light/Dark: Star Lancer

Requires Item: MorningStar Chain

Tech: Shooting Star Spear - Single Target

Spells

  • Upgrades
    • Speed Up - Single/Multi Target
    • Protect Up - Single/Multi Target
    • Mind Up - Single/Multi Target
    • Power Up - Single/Multi Target
  • Learns
    • Marduk - Multi Target

The Star Lancer can multi target her stat raising spells which makes it much easier to prepare your party for a tough boss fight. Her summon can silence enemies which prevents many enemies from using their most powerful attacks.

Dark/Light: Dragon Master

Requires Item: KnightDragon Chain

Tech: Dragon Fang Spear - Single Target

Spells

  • Starts with
    • Speed Down - Single Target
    • Protect Down - Single Target
    • Mind Down - Single Target
    • Power Down - Single Target
  • Learns
    • Jormundgand - Multi Target'

The Dragon Master has a summon that can poison enemies. It is both the quickest summon to cast and quickest to learn. She does not learn how to multi target her stat down spells, but rarely do monsters need both Power & Mind Down.

Dark/Dark: Fenrir Knight

Requires Item: Gleipnir

Tech: Hundred Flower Dance - Single Target

Spells

  • Upgrades
    • Speed Down - Single/Multi Target
    • Protect Down - Single/Multi Target
    • Mind Down - Single/Multi Target
    • Power Down - Single/Multi Target
  • Learns
    • Lamian Naga - Multi Target

The Fenrir Knight's summon, Lamian Naga, does more damage than any of the other summons Lise can learn. The downside is that it is also the only summon that does not cause any status effects. She also learns how to multi target her stat lowering spells, which can be useful when fighting several powerful monsters. For example it is a good idea to cast Power Down on groups of Nightblades to weaken the power of their Split-Image Slice.
