==Palace bailout==
In some palace rooms with open ceilings, you can cllimb to a high enough ledge or platform that you will be able to reach the top of the screen. Use the ''Jump'' spell on one of these ledges, then select ''Fairy'', jump off the top of the screen and activate ''Fairy''. If you then push left or right, you will fall into a palace whose color scheme is the same as the one you were in, but whose layout and enemies will be the same as Parapa Palace (but with no final boss). When you leave the palace and return, it will return to normal.

==Darunia rearranged==
Climb up to the roof of the soldier's house in Darunia and perform the same sequence as above. The town you fall into will have the same layout, but the graphics will be slightly garbled and the townspeople will give different clues. When you leave, though, you will find yourself in a badly scrambled Overworld section and be unable to move.

Pass on the experience[edit]

Control selector Select controller:
NES, GameCube, Wii Classic Controller, Wii Remote

After Link deposits a crystal in the statue, he automatically begins to rise to the next level of experience. When this occurs, you can pause the game, and quick exit to the save screen (press Up dpad+A button on the second controller) and select another file. The file that you select will begin to accumulate the amount of experience that the Link who deposited the crystal should have received. In this way, you can cause another file to rise very quickly in levels beyond where he would normally be.
