- North Palace
- Exit the Palace and head east to Raul Town.
- Raul Town
- Enter the second house in the second segment of town, and visit the Wizard to learn the Shield spell.
- Travel from Rual Town to Parapa Palace.
- Travel through the cave to the north of Raul town to reach the north desert.
- Before visiting the Palace, head south and collect a Heart Container from the oasis.
- Return to the north and enter Parapa Palace.
- Parapa Palace
- Collect the Candle.
- Defeat Horsehead and deposit the first crystal in the statue.
- Travel from Parapa Palace to Ruto Town
- Collect a Magic Container from the cave south of North Palace.
- Collect the Statue from the desert cave north of North Palace.
- Follow the north road west to Ruto Town.
- Ruto Town
- Go to the first house in the second segment of town. Present the statue to the woman outside to gain access to the Wizard who will teach you the Jump spell.
- Travel from Ruto Town to Saria Town
- Travel through the cave south of Ruto Town. Make use of the Jump spell to escape.
- Explore the woods north of a bridge to find Bagu's House.
- Collect a letter from Bagu.
- Cross the bridge to the south and travel to Saria Town.
- Enter the first house in the second segment of town. Examine the space below the table to find the mirror
- Return to the second house in the first segment. Present the mirror to the woman outside to gain access to the Wizard who will teach you the Life spell.
- Enter the first house in the third segment of town and present Bagu's letter to the guard to gain access to the bridge, and cross it to exit through the south side of town.
- Death Mountain
- From the entrance to Death Mountain, travel through the following caves; right, right, right (don't use the elevator), right, right, down, down, down.
- Enter the cave on the right side of Spectacle Rock and collect the Hammer
- Use the hammer on the rock on the left side of Spectacle Rock and collect a Magic Container.
- Travel from Death Mountain to Mido Town
- Escape from Death Mountain using the cave to the far right of Spectacle Rock.
- Cross the long bridge to reach the cemetery to the east.
- Break the boulder blocking the road north of the cemetery, and travel west along the road. Head to the blocked swamp cave north-west of Bagu's home.
- Break the boulder in front of the cave and head inside to collect the Medicine.
- Return to the road and follow it north, break the boulder off the road to the right, and enter it to collect a Heart Container.
- Mido Town
- Walk to the church in the second segment of town. Activate the spell of Jump to reach the doorway in the second story. Proceed inside the door to find the soldier who will teach you the technique of Downward Thrust.
- Go the first house in the third segment. Give the Medicine from the swamp cave to the woman who waits outside to gain access to the Wizard who will teach you the Fairy spell.
- Travel from Mido Town to Midoro Palace
- Follow the mountain range above Bagu's home up and around to the left to find Midoro Palace.
- Midoro Palace
- Collect the Glove.
- Defeat Helmethead and deposit the second crystal in the statue.
- Travel from Midoro Palace to Island Palace
- Return to the cemetery near Mido Town. Head to the King's grave in the center and travel south to find the false grave.
- After falling down the pit, use the spell of Fairy to escape through the tunnel.
- Walk around on the island to access the palace.
- Island Palace
- Collect the Raft.
- Defeat horse riding Ironknuckle and deposit the third crystal in the statue.
