NCV1-XEV Area 12A.png

Once the text "AREA 12" has disappeared from the screen, you shall have to drop a bomb on the location of the game's thirtieth Sol (shown in the above image) to make it reveal itself; once you have dropped another bomb on this thirtieth Sol to kill it, four (or only two if it's a one-player game) indestructible Sheonites will come flying down into view from the top of the screen while homing in on the positions of both (your in a one-player game) Solvalou, meet up and join together, and fly back up off the top of the screen. A Garu Zakato will then come flying down towards you - and once you have fired a shot at it to kill it (because you may remember that if you do not, it will explode into twenty-four projectiles, four of which will home in on the Solvalou, but can be blocked for 100 points apiece), a group of ten Zakato shall materialise in front of you and fly down towards you, while at the same time, six groups of two Jara will come flying down towards you while firing projectiles at you. Once you've fired a shot at as many of these enemies as you can to kill them (then avoided the projectiles launched at you by any Zakato you missed) the Kubo Andor Genesis shall come flying down into view from the top of the screen.

Once you have dropped a bomb on each of the Kubo Andor Genesis' four cannons to destroy them, you shall have to drop a fifth bomb on its core to kill it; once you have done so a Bragza shall emerge from its wreckage and fly up off the top of the screen. Four groups of four Torkan and Toroids will then come flying down towards you while firing projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, eight Frossers will come flying into view from the screen's right and left sides, while firing homing projectiles (similar to those launched by the Garu Zakato) at you (however, you might also remember that these ones cannot get blocked, only deflected). Once you have fired a shot at each of the Frossers to kill them, a group of five Garu Spario will come spinning down towards you while firing projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, twelve more Frossers will come flying into view from the left and right sides of the screen while firing homing projectiles at you so you must try not to leave them alive too long.

Once you have fired a shot at each of the Frossers to kill them, two groups of ten Kapi shall come flying down towards you while firing projectiles at you; once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them, you'll have to drop a bomb on the location of the game's eleventh Zos (seen in the above image) to make it reveal itself. Once you've dropped a second bomb on this eleventh Zos to kill it, you'll come to two Zolbak, a Logram, a Garu Barra, four Derota, and four Hakai Kanou-Dan-firing Doraudo below you - and once you drop a bomb on each of these to kill them, the game shall segue into the thirteenth area as the text "AREA 13" appears at the bottom of the screen. By this point, there shall also be only four more areas to clear (for the standard game), but if the game should get extended by the players finishing the standard game in one coin, this number shall get increased to either five, six, or seven.
