NCV1-XEV Area 8A.png

Once the text "AREA 8" has disappeared from the bottom of the screen, four groups of two Jara shall come flying down towards the Solvalou while firing projectiles at them; at the same time, four Burazzi shall materialise in front of the Solvalou, then fly off the top of the screen while also firing projectiles at them. Once you have fired a shot at each of these to kill them, a Bacura will come tumbling down towards you - and once you have manoeuvred around it, a group of fifteen Zakato will materialise in front of you. Once you have fired a shot at as many of the Zakato as you can to kill them (then avoided the projectiles launched at you by the rest) a trio of Kogata Andor Genesis (which first appeared as regular enemies in Xevious 3D/G) will come flying down into view from the top of the screen; the first one will then move further down the screen, while the third one moves back up it. All three of them will then move down the screen until they're in the same horizontal position, back up to the top of the screen, and back down it again (the first and third ones will also move further down it than the second one) - and once you drop a bomb on one of their cores to kill it a Bragza shall emerge from its wreckage and fly off the top of the screen as a group of five Giddo Spario comes flying down towards you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them you shall have to drop a bomb on one of the two remaining Kogata Andor Genesis' cores to kill it; once you've done it a second Bragza will emerge from its wreckage and fly off the top of the screen as a second group of five Zakato materialises in front of you. Once you've fired a shot at as many of them as you can to kill them, and avoided the projectiles launched at you by the rest, another group of twenty Giddo Spario will come flying down towards you - and once you've fired a shot at each of these to kill them, you'll have to drop a bomb on the last remaining Kogata Andor Genesis's core to kill it. Once you've done so, a third Bragza shall emerge from its wreckage and fly off the top of the screen as a third group of ten Giddo Spario comes flying down towards you; once you've fired a shot at each of these to kill them, twelve Frossers will come flying into view from the right and left sides of the screen while firing homing projectiles like those of the Garu Zakato (which can be deflected, but not blocked, by your own shots for 100 points apiece) at you.

Once you have fired a shot at each of the Frossers to kill them, five groups of four Terrazi will come flying down towards you, while firing projectiles at you; once you've fired a shot at each of them to kill them you'll come to a Powerup Core below you. Once you have dropped a bomb on it to kill it, you shall have to drop a bomb on the location of the game's seventh Zos (shown in the above image) to make it reveal itself - and once you have dropped another bomb on this seventh Zos to kill it, a group of ten Kapi will come flying down towards you while firing projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them you'll have to drop a bomb on the location of the game's twenty-first Sol (again shown in the above image) to make it reveal itself; once you have dropped another bomb on this twenty-first Sol to kill it you shall come to two Derota below you. Once you have dropped a bomb on both of them to kill them, three more groups of ten Kapi will come flying down towards you while firing projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to kill them, you will come to two Garu Barra, two Garu Derota, and a Domogram which is moving in a clockwise direction (around the square between the Garu Derota) below you. Once you have dropped a bomb on each of them to kill them the game shall segue into the ninth area as the text "AREA 9" appears at the bottom of the screen; by this point, you will have made it up to the halfway point of the standard game.
