Doombringer is a melee strength hero who is usually played as a carry. He can Devour a creep to gain its special abilities, whether it'd be a stun or an aura. Wiith his Scorched Earth, he can heal himself up while enemies around him slowly burn. His oddly named LVL? Death will do a lot of damage if the target is at the right level, and enemies targeted by his Doom are quite literally doomed, having their health slowly burn away while being completely silenced.

Devour lets you consume an enemy or neutral creep, gaining bonus gold as well as any abilities that creep has. Usually you would want to Devour the creep bosses in the jungle, as they have better abilities. The centaur, the wildkin or the troll warlord are good targets for most of the game.

Scorched Earth creates an area of fire wherever you go, healing you and damageing enemies for a certain amount. It also gives you bonus movement speed. It's usually used more as a way to escape and heal up than to damage enemies. It is effective for clearing creep waves, so you can use it for pushing, but since it has quite a long cooldown, it might not be a good idea if you don't think you can actually destroy any buildings.

LVL? Death will damage and mini-stun the target enemy, doing bonus damage if the target's level is a multiple of a certain number or at level 25. It is pretty situational for a damage nuke, but if your target is at the right level you can do up to 525 damage on a single target. It can also be used to interrupt channeling abilities.
