In Final Fantasy XII, instead of monsters having an inexplicable treasure troves of gil, they instead drop items that you otherwise have no use for except to sell. Once you sell particular items, certain Bazaar Goods appear in the Bazaar, which contain items or equipments that are usually at a discounted price.
