Go talk to Kor Khalam in the sect camp and do all his quests. The "Big thing" is the invocation.
Basically the "Big Thing" is the bigges part of Chapter 2, and the Swamp Camp is the Crux of this chapter.

If you joined the Old Camp or New Camp, either Raven or Mordrag will tell you that they want you to go over to the Sect Camp and find out whats up. If you have joined the Sect Camp, Cor Kalom will just tell you to go make yourself useful, the egotistical bastard.

No matter which camp you joined, when you bump into Lester at the Main Gate, he will tell you he is glad you are here, and that the Brotherhood is planning to contact the Sleeper. He will tell you to go speak to Y'Berion in the temple. Go do this.

When you meet Y'Berion, he says "he knows your face.", and you promptly tell him this is impossible, as you have never met him before. He will start to say something, then quickly change the topic and ask what you want. He will tell you they need a magical focus to contact "The Sleeper", and will tell you to go find it. He explains that they had already sent Nyras, a novice, to go and get it, but he hasnt come back............

Anyway, get the map from Y'Berion telling you the location of the focus, and listen to his directions. Leave the camp, and then hug the cliff until you can turn right, then go along the edge of the forest, until you can see the edge of the cliff towards the sea. You should be able to see a ring of stone with a pedestal in the center. SAVE.

When you approach the pedestal, you will be hailed by Nyras, the novice who was supposed to get the focus. He will explain that he has found the focus, but is keeping it himself, turning against his Brotherhood and only obeying the Sleeper. He will then attack you. Defeat him (if your quick and have invested a few points in strength and 1-h weapons, this should be easy), take the focus and all of his other stuff, then return to camp.

NOTE: It doesnt really matter whether or not you kill Nyras, as he doesn't appear again regardless. If you feel like being nice, just knock him out, loot him, and leave.

When you return to camp, go talk to Y'Berion again. Tell him what happened to Nyras. He will say that this is due to the might of The Sleeper, and that only Gurus can bear to hear his voice, all others will despair over it. Strange........

Y'Berion will then tell you to take the Focus back to Cor Kalom. When you do, Cor Kalom will tell you that they need a potion to contact the sleeper, made from the secretion of the Minecrawlers. He will tell you that the Sleeper has told him that they need a stronger secretion than the one found in the Minecrawlers mandibles, and that the answer should lie in the Minecrawler's Nest. He will then send you to the Old Mine to get some Minecrawler Eggs.
