Koopa Koot is the eldest, stingiest, Koopa in the village. He lives in the farthest house in the eastern half. After you rid the village of the fuzzies, you will be able to complete a series of favors for him.

1. Koopa Koot asks you to borrow the book "Koopa Legends" for him from Kolorado's wife, who lives two houses down from him (The house with the red-colored roof). Give him the book and receive a 1 coin reward.
2. Koot asks you to bring him a Sleepy Sheep which can be bought from Toad Town's Shroom Grocery. Although there is one behind a fence on Pleasant Path towards Toad Town, if you haven't gotten it yet. Give it to him for another 1 coin reward, and a Silver Credit to the Toad Town Playroom. Mr. Koot is then happy until after Chapter 1.
3. Koot asks you to fetch back "The Tape" he lent Goompa in Goomba Village. Give it back to Koot for 1 coin.
4. Koot wants you to get some Koopa Tea for him by having Tayce T. cook a Koopa Leaf. Give it to him and get *gasp* another 1 coin.
5. Koot says he really wants Luigi's autograph. Go to Mario's house through the pipe near Toad Town's entrance and get it. If you try to get it after Chapter 2 and before you get the Super Boots, though, you won't be able to get to Luigi, so don't go out of your way then. When you give it to Koot, he gives you another 1 coin. Again Koot is content, until after Chapter 2.
6. Koot lost his wallet when he went to the store. Find it in the bushes in front of the blue house where you listen to the radio, then give it to Koot for 1 coin.
7. Koot asks for a Tasty Tonic, available at Harry's Shop in Toad Town and Yoshi Village. Koot then gives you 1 coin.
8. Koopa Koot then says he wants Merluvlee's Autograph, too. Go to Shooting Star Summit and talk to her behind the table and she will send you to get her a Crystal Ball from her sister, Merlee. Find Merlee in Dry Dry outpost in a hidden back alley in the area where you found Sheek/Moustafa (it's behind some boxes). Get the Crystal Ball, go back to Merluvlee and get the Autograph, then go back to Koot. For this big task, he actually gives you 3 Star Pieces! Koot is happy until after Chapter 3.
9. Koot feels out of touch (with the gossip especially) and tells you to go read him a Newspaper, by which he means he wants you to go read both sides of the sign by Merlon's House in Toad Town. Come back to Koot and he gives you 1 coin.
10. Koot wants to feel more secure, so heasks you to get him a Life Shroom, available for 50 at Boo's Shop in (duh) Boos's Mansion. Give it to him for not only 1 coin, but the Gold Credit for the Playroom!
11. Koot is now has a hankering for some of Tayce T.'s Nutty Cake. He tells you the secret ingredient is Goomnut that can be found in a tree in front of "someone's" house. As the ingredients name suggests, you'll find it in the tree in Goomba Village. Have Tayce T. cook the Goomnut and give the Nutty Cake to Koot and receive 1 coin.
12. Koot can't sleep because of the racket next door. You just have to talk to them with Bombetta and they'll stop. Koot will be so grateful he'll give you 3 Star Pieces.
13. Koot has be become self-conscious of his popularity and wants you to retrieve an Old Photo from his younger days, he left at Boo Mansion. Talk to the first boo in the mansion and he will give you the photo along with his recount Koot when he was young. Return the photo for 1 coin.
14. Koopa Koot Tayce T.'s gourmet Koopaste. Let Tacye T. cook with Koopa Leaf and Dried Pasta and hay presto she makes Koopaste. Give it to Koot and you're rewarded with 1 coin. Koot can't think of any more favors until after Chapter 5.
