The Judge sees the evidence as unimportant, as they don't tell you anything about de Killer's client and decides he doesn't need the evidence.

You run out of the courtroom. Andrews was convicted, and Maya is released, but you never saw her again. You think that this so-called "miracle" never happened because it never existed. You never believed in miracles since.

Shelly de Killer will be called to the stand one more time. You ask him why he went back to his hideout to recover the tape. De Killer says he was told by his client to protect it at all costs. You ask him if he saw the contents of the tape. De Killer says he hasn't, as he is told not to. You finally explain to him that the contents of the video tape are that of de Killer killing Corrida.
It seems de Killer's client hid the camera , so he/she could catch de Killer on tape. De Killer asks why he/she would do such a thing. Answer, that the client '''Wanted to blackmail you'''. Yesterday, Engarde tols you that he trusts absolutely no one and records de Killer do his bidding so he could hold him at bay, even to blackmail him! Edgeworth reminds de Killer that he would break his contract with clients who show no trust to him. In fact de Killer will kill any traitors who defy him and it looks like his client, Matt Engarde, will be his next target. De Killer also promises to return your "item". It looks like you will see Maya again after all!
Engarde is called to the stand not looking "refreshing like a spring breeze". You are asked one more time if Engarde is guilty or not. It doesn't matter which, because as if right now, de Killer will be at his face any second to claim his victim, so even if he is acquitted, Engarde will be facing an unfortunate death anyways. Engarde will eagerly admit his guilt (watch him as he does it) and will be convicted.
Andrews will come up one last time. She mentions that when she was called up, she felt hopeless. But, thanks to you and Edgeworth, she felt like she was saved. While she was down at the detention center, she finally saw herself for who she really was. For the first time in her life, Andrews finally feels happy with who she is.
The Judge adjourns court without ever having to announce a verdict... but just for fun...
Matt Engarde is found Guilty!
==What REALLY Happened==
It all began two years ago. Matt Engarde and Juan Corrida were fierce rivals when it comes to acting careers. These two had bumped heads since The Nickel Samurai and The Jammin' Ninja (both played by Engarde and Corrida, respectively) were born. Their rivalry became more and more fierce and would eventually lead to tragedy due to the death of the lovely manager Celeste Inpax.
Celeste became a Engarde's manager and soon became smitten with him, even falling in love. She hanged out with Engarde and was very happy to be with him. She thought she had been dating with him. One day however, Engarde threw her off. Engarde actually never loved Celeste, in fact, he was only using her like a "toy" and decided he doesn't need her anymore. Engarde's reveal crushed Celeste's heart. Celeste quits working at Global Studios and moved on to Worldwide Studios.
There, she became a manager of Corrida. Celeste took an instant liking to Corrida and fortunately for her, vice versa. They eventually began a relationship with each other. Celeste was very happy with Corrida, even happier than with Engarde. Celeste and Corrida began dating and grew closer and closer to each other. Eventually they decide to propose a marriage. Celeste and Corrida announces their marriage thinking nothing could tear them apart... until three days later.
Hearing about the marriage Engarde "confessed" to Corrida about their "relationship". This confession has prompted Corrida to call off the marriage and leave Celeste since he wanted nothing to do with anything and anyone who had history with his fiercest rival, especially since Celeste was Engarde's ex-girlfriend. Celeste was once again crushed and was eventually overwhelmed with misery. She decided not to move on, but to end it all to prevent ever being hurt by Engarde again.
Corrida visits Celeste again and was horrified of what he saw... Celeste has hanged herself, thinking death would be her escape from further mental torment. Corrida notices that Celeste hasn't left a will or suicide note, so he decided to write one himself consisting nothing but Engarde's misdeeds. He hides the will, catching the eye of tabloids.
Celeste was a mentor of Adrian Andrews. Andrews was a mentally weak person, and doesn't know what to do with herself in life. The person she could look up to is Celeste. Andrews was very dependent to her and usually imitates her attitude. After learning of Celeste's suicide, Andrews was overwhelmed by fear that there was no one to guide her anymore. She decide to follow her mentor's footsteps and follow her to the grave. She attempted suicide, but failed even leaving a suicide note. She attended counseling sessions afterwords. She became Engarde's manager, whom, unlike Celeste, she did not love at all.
Through the two years after Celeste's death, the rivalry moved on and continued to grow. Both Engarde and Corrida had been continually spying on each other and watched each other's every move. Their shows airing at the same time and their prides consuming their lives. They both fought with Engarde always the victor. Engarde's constant victories would annoy Corrida to the point he would ruin the former's career. That day would come at the Grand Prix in the Gatewater Hotel, two years after Celeste's death with unexpected and tragic reasons.
Corrida made a plan in case he lost. He would make a spare costume of The Nickel Samurai and wear it to a press conference he arranged. Disguised as Engarde, he would "confess" to the public the misdeeds he had done to Celeste, being such a cruel man. Hearing this, the public would despise Engarde, thus ruining his career and his "refreshing like a spring breeze" image. Andrews meets with Corrida and volunteers to help set up Corrida's plan though she despises the plan, using a fake will to ruin Engarde. The meeting was caught by tabloids, starting a scandal.
Unfortunately for the two, Engarde was well aware of the plan, the forged note, and the figurine thanks to the tabloids that referr to Corrida and Andrews' metting. To make sure the plan doesn't take place, Engarde would not have go there. And since Corrida is the one attending, one way to stop Corrida, is to kill him. He couldn't do it himself, so he hired professional assassin Shelly de Killer to do the job. De Killer accepted the job, thinking Engarde trust's him. He doesn't. In fact, Engarde set up a spy camera in one of Corrida's bears to capture de Killer in action, so he could use the footage to blackmail him.
At the night of the Grand Prix, The Nickel Samurai (Engarde) was named the Hero of Heroes. Since Corrida lost the Grand Prix, he decides to take action. But fate had other plans.
After the show, Engarde had dinner with Andrews and told her he would be sleeping (to cover his tracks), not before paying de Killer a huge roll of cash after Andrews leaves. The payment was spotted by Will Powers, who was looking for Engarde, his student in acting. De Killer, dressed as one of the hotel's bellboys, sneaked in Corrida's hotel room with leather gloves on bringing a drink with him. Once he set down the plate with tomato juice on top, he grabs Corrida's scarf, strangling him until he was no more. Corrida struggles as he dies. Making a mess around him He then grabs the figurine with the note in it and walks out of the building, again spotted by Powers, and into Engarde's manor, but not before leaving his signature card, indicating that he had done his duty.
Andrews looks in Engarde's room and finds him asleep. She then walks in Corrida's room to see if he is awake and finds Corrida lumping on his chair. At first, she thought he was unconscious and pours him the juice de Killer left earlier. She comes to realize that Corrida had died and sets down the glass down in shock, knocking a vase over and landing it on top of Corrida's guitar case, leaving it wet and shattering the glass.
Andrews immediately knew that this was Engarde's doing and decides to rearrange the scene to make it more obvious. She opens up Corrida's guitar case containing the spare Nickel Samurai costume, which she picked up and put it on. She was quite shorter than Corrida, so it is a little hard for her to walk. Andrews went to Engarde's room. Spotted by Lotta Hart's Camera and Wendy Oldbag once in Engardee's room, she picks up Engarde's knife and heads back to Corrida's room with it. There, she stabs Corrida's dead body with it. The blood washes towards the Jammin' Ninja's button, so Andrews pulls the button and puts it on Engarde's hakama. Andrews sees the card that de Killer left. She puts it in her handbag thinking it is nothing special and keeping it as a souvenir.
When the police arrive, they found the crime scene Andrews arranged. Seeing the obvious clues and not seeing the card Andrews took, the police but Engarde under custody. Hearing the news, de Killer went through drastic measures to get Engarde aquitted. He went through as far as kidnapping a beloved friend of a lawyer (Maya Fey) and hold her ransom for the lawyer (Phoenix Wright) to get a complete acquittal for the murderer.
==Farewell, My Turnabout: Epilouge==
As you watch the ending to this game, you are given an opportunity to present something. '''Present''' the '''Whip''', yell '''OBJECTION!''' to the mic and enjoy the credits.
You are finally finished with the final case of the game but don't worry, there will be more cases and adventures you will face in the future, just in the next game in the series. [[StrategyWiki]] will be there for you like a Mia to your Phoenix.
Right now you are thinking, hey, this game forgot about Morgan Fey. On the end of the second case, she still had plans to give Pearl the Master position. Don't worry, as those plans will be explained on the next game of the series.

At first, you get a call from Engarde. Then Engarde taunts you, followed by a message from Maya, telling you to give your client a guilty verdict before being called by Mia.
Mia, in Pearl's body, tells you Maya hasn't channelled her since yesterday. She tries to comfort you by telling you to stay confident, but you shocked her by losing your cool over this situation.
You get a call from Gumshoe (in which you mistakenly yell at Engarde), who says that he and the rest of the force are doing whatever they can to find de Killer and rescue Maya. Gumshoe advises you to make the trial as long as possible. Mia tells you that friendship is something that even money can't buy.
Edgeworth will inform The Judge that Corrida was likely killed by de Killer, whose client is likely Engarde. He calls Powers to the stand and has him testify about his visit to Engarde's hotel room.
Press on the fourth statement. Powers will say that Engarde gave the bellboy a tip.
Now Press on the third statement. Powers felt something "strange" about the tip-giving incident. He will add what it is in his testimony.
Matt gave the bellboy a tip.
Press on that statement. Powers says he was shocked about the amount of money Engarde gave the bellboy. Ask about Engarde's tip. Powers will tell you Engarde gave the bellboy a fat roll of cash! A roll? Isn't that a little too much? The Judge looks suspiciously at you. When given a choice, choose either Raise an objection or Wait and see since there's no penalty here and the game is linear. You need to prolong the trial or someone else might correct it for you.
Why would Engarde pay the bellboy so much cash? Edgeworth informs everyone that the bellboy was Shelly de Killer, the assassin. The payment was probably for the murder. Just then, Powers remembers something, he actually saw de Killer twice! He will testify about the second time he saw de Killer.
Press on Powers' fourth statement. Powers reveals that the bellboy left empty-handed, which he thinks is strange. When given the option, choose Try to pull a fast one. You will say there is nothing strange. Edgeworth will then state that there is no reason for the bellboy to leave empty-handed. Powers will add a new statement.
I thought it was kinda strange for a bellboy to come out of a guest's room empty-handed!
Present the Wine Glass or the Crime Photo on this statement. There is a tray under the tomato juice bottle as seen in the crime photo, so the bellboy was obviously in there before or after the murder occurred, which is probably why he left empty-handed when he left the room. Powers then remembers that the bellboy was wearing leather gloves. Black leather gloves! This makes the bellboy very suspicious. Edgeworth has Powers testify one more time.
Press on statement two. Then, Ask about the person inside. After talking, Press the same statement and Ask about this "something". A new statement will be added.
If I saw it again, I could say for sure, but I think it was some sort of wooden statue.
A wooden statue? Present the Figurine on this statement. Powers will recognize it as this "something". Edgeworth will tell the court that they found the bear at Engarde's house. If Engarde gave the bellboy, de Killer, the bear, then de Killer may have put it at Engarde's house. Why? Because Engarde was his client of course! Damn it, Edgeworth!
Hearing this, The Judge decides to declare a verdict. No! What about Maya!? You are then given a few choices. First, ask about the person who received the bear. Earlier, Powers said he saw the givers arm, and only that. Just then, he remembers who it was: The Nickel Samurai!
You are back to the question. This time ask about the bear itself. Alternatively, you can choose to talk about the bear and then talk about the person who received the bear. You mention that the bellboy hid the bear at Engarde's mansion, but Engarde was asleep before he was arrested. Edgeworth will counter your claim, reminding everyone that since Engarde and de Killer were working together, it is obvious why de Killer hid it.
Edgeworth stated the truth and the judge once again moves to declare a verdict. When given the option, choose Raise an objection. You mention that although Powers claims to have seen de Killer give the bear to the Nickel Samurai, Powers doesn't know who was inside the costume. When given the chance to present the other suspect, Present Adrian Andrews's Profile. Yesterday, you proved that Andrews wore a spare Nickel Samurai costume when the murder occurred, so it is possible that Powers could have seen Andrews rather than Engarde!
No one believes you. The whole court is turning against you. Edgeworth, however, decides to join in your "game" and decides to call up Andrews to the stand. The Judge will call a recess, so you can rest for awhile. Whew!
Mia has left Pearl. Why? And at this time? Pearl mentions she was pulled away by a stronger force.
Your phone beeps. It's Gumshoe! He says he hasn't got a lead for where de Killer is. Just then Mia returns. She says she saw a circus tent 300 feet away from where Maya is. More specifically, outside of Berry Big Circus (from Turnabout Big Top) with a letterbox, in an old dusty building on the third floor of a small window.
You tell that to Gumshoe, who decides to race there. Pray that they make it.
Andrews is called up to the stand once again and testifies about the bear.
Press all of Andrews' statements. It turns out she knew all along about this bear. She and Corrida knew how to solve it. The bear was from Switzerland, so not many people in this country have it.
After pressing all of the statements, the Figurine will be updated to the Court Record. Edgeworth is curious of what exactly is inside of the bear. He has Andrews open it up, and guess what's inside: Celeste Inpax's suicide note! Andrews will reveal that she knew all along from Corrida where he hid the suicide note. When Corrida died, Andrews couldn't find it, because it had already been taken by de Killer.
The Judge reads the contents Celeste wrote on the suicide note. Being used and thrown away by Engarde, proposing a marriage with Corrida only to have it ruined by Engarde, and ending it all in despair.
Andrews will explain Engarde's motive. Corrida was going to announce the contents to the public. Engarde had to do something to stop this announcement from ruining his "refreshing like a spring breeze" image. Celeste's Suicide Note will be added to the Court Record.
You now have two deadly weapons in your possession. When asked which one to pursue, select either The Figurine, or Celeste's Suicide Note. There is one tiny thing that contradicts Edgeworth's claims: did Engarde really know about the note or the bear? It may seem that he couldn't have, but Edgeworth proves otherwise. He brings up the spy camera. Hey! Isn't that in your possession? Edgeworth says he found it at Engarde's house. Apparently, Engarde had been spying on Corrida for years, so it's no wonder Engarde found out about the note.
Shoot! It looks like he's destroyed the few claims you have. Do you have anything to counter with? According to Mia, you do. She tells you that Edgeworth has overlooked something. Overlooked what? If you find it, you just may have a chance to raise more doubts and thus prolong the trial. When given the chance, choose Present evidence. Then, Present Celeste's Suicide Note. It looks like it is about how big a jerk Engarde is, but Edgeworth has one more thing to check: the handwriting. Did Celeste really write the note? The note has been in your possession since only moments ago and it has yet to be analyzed.
The court doesn't believe you and calls for Engarde's hanging. The Judge sees no reason to continue today and is planning to extend until tomorrow. What!? Maya can't make it for another day! And just when things couldn't get any worse, you get a call from Gumshoe, who tells you they made it to de Killer's hideout... only to find out de Killer has eluded them again! Does this mean you have to prolong the trial even longer!? Is that even possible!? Gumshoe wants to talk to Edgeworth, so you throw the phone at him. Edgeworth, however, brushes off the call since "court is in session".
Seeing no reason to continue, The Judge adjourns court for today... but just then, "Objection"!
It's Edgeworth! He requests for a thirty-minute recess. By then, the handwriting analysis will be finished. The Judge agrees and calls for a recess. (Close one... maybe too close)
Gumshoe will tell you that when they got to de Killer's former hiding spot, they discovered three pieces of evidence de Killer left behind. Gumshoe manages to steal the items and is racing towards court! Unfortunately, he crashes, cutting off the call.
Darn it! Gumshoe had the only evidence to save you. Is there another way to bring them? Answer There is a way. Edgeworth wants proof, Present Franziska von Karma's Profile. Von Karma has a tracking device that leads her to Gumshoe. Maybe she can take the evidence before the police do!
Edgeworth is then told the police are finished with the analysis of the suicide note. Edgeworth will call them for the results. What are the results?
