Revision as of 19:43, 8 September 2023

Berry Forest is an area unique to any others. This forest provides the only renewable source of Berries in the entire game. After you rescue Lostelle, it may be worth returning to the forest once in a while to replenish your supply...

Berry Forest

Berry Forest.

Berry Forest is similar to Viridian Forest in that it's a natural maze. However, this Forest is famous for allowing various kinds of Berries to regrow over and over again.

New Berries will regrow every 512 steps you take, so if you like to equip your Pokemon with these useful fruits, this is the place to revisit once your quest is over. The forest is devoid of trainers however.

Lostelle

Lostelle is the pink haired girl at the end of the forest. When you find her, she will tell you that she's been chased down by a "scary" Pokemon. The Pokemon is a level 30 Hypno. Capture or defeat it to finally rescue Lostelle.

As a reward, Lostelle will gift you an Iapapa Berry and you will both warp to the Game Corner on Two Island.

#97 Hypno
Pokemon 097Hypno.png

Hypno is the evolved form of Drowzee. A pure Psychic Pokemon, it has average stats and can be one of the better Psychic types in the game. It's ability to learn almost all TMs is what makes it a standout though, and worth catching. Weak only to Bug, Ghost, and Dark, Hypno is super effective against many types. Hypno makes a decent replacement for Kadabra, if you are unable to trade for an Alakazam.
