GameCube

Remember that many of the game's actions are context sensitive. That means that the action the A button performs is based on where you are and what you are trying to do. The same goes for the X button.

  • Neutral dpad: Move characters/navigate menus
  • Neutral control: Move characters/navigate menus
  • Neutral cstick: Move the camera
  • Start button: Pause the game and bring up the pause menu
  • A button: Action button (context sensitive)
  • B button: Cancel/Hold down to run
  • Y button: Open inventory/menu
  • X button: Give commands to Ashley (context sensitive)
  • Z button: Open map
  • L button: Pull out knife (while holding L button (you can change this in the Options menu), press A button to use it)
  • R button: Equip weapon (while holding R button, press A button to use it)
