The Guild - Long Cutscene[edit]

Save Your Adventure
Saving is important. You should save any time you have a chance. From now on you may save every time you climb to your bed at the guild.

After the text, the game logo will reappear. After that's done, You'll be in front the Wigglytuff Guild building. Your partner will stand on the grate, and Diglett will identify his footprint. Then, he'll call you. He'll have trouble identifying your footprint claiming that Pokémon like you rarely come (for example if you are a Charmander then Diglett will say that Charmanders don't come very often.). The gate will be lifted, and you will be permitted to enter.

Missions
Missions are the heart of this game. Most of your storyline playtime will be missions. Missions are received at the guild on the middle floor. The left board lists rescue, escort and delivery missions, while the right board lists Outlaw capture and Item theft retrieval missions. All missions are carried in dungeons.

Inside, Chatot will invite you to see the guildmaster Wigglytuff. Wigglytuff will ask you for the name of the group. Any name is accepted, and you may change it at the main screen at the beginning of the game, after the opening.

After that, he'll give you a Pokémon Exploration Team Kit, containing: an Explorer Badge, which will used to rescue Pokémon from dungeons in missions. A Wonder Map, which is used when you are about to leave to a dungeon, and a 16 slot Treasure Bag with some items in it. The bag is used to contain your collected items. As you progress through the game, you'll be awarded with enlarged bags, increasing your item capacity. Chatot will then show you to your room, for as long as you and your partner are working for the guild, and leave you to sleep.

The next morning, Loudred, a fellow, yet impatient apprentice will wake the player and partner up. Realising the two have overslept, they go to the lobby, and Chatot calls Wigglytuff to speak to the apprentices, but he's fast asleep, despite his eyes being wide open. Everyone will chant the morning cheers and leave. Wonder around a bit, and Chatot calls the player and partner to the second floor. Chatot explains about missions, and assigns the duo to retrieve Spoink's lost pearl.

Dungeon: Drenched Bluff[edit]

Dungeon Info:
Parameter Value
Name Drenched Bluff
Floors 6
Pokémon Info:
Name Type
Lileep Rock/Grass
Shellos Ground/Water
Anorith Rock/Bug
Chingling Psychic

It is another easy dungeon. With 6 floors to explore and more Pokémon, with levels around 3-6, for exp., you should easily train yourself to level 10-15 here. However, watch out for Chingling; their Wrap atttack is quite annoying, as it can continously damage you around 2-5 turns and keep you from attacking or even moving.

Back at the Guild[edit]

After finishing the 6 floors, you'll reach to the bottom and find the pearl. You take it and return back to the guild. Once you are back, Spoink sincerly thanks you and give some helpful items, like a Calcium, Protein and Iron, and 2000 Poké. But suddenly, Chatot will take 90% of it, explaining that most of the money earned from all missions goes to the Guildmaster, and leaves only 200 Poké for the player and partner, causing him/her to sag. Once Chimecho declares dinner, all the guild members come to eat, then go to bed.
