The Unithorn's Lair is a zone accessible by falling in to any bottomless pit in Wario World. Instead of dying, Wario enters a darkened maze area with Unithorn enemies floating about. There's between four and seven depending on the stage. The Unithorn's Lair will generally have thin, mazelike strips of land in between cursed water that causes Wario to lose coins and bounce off of it when contact is made. In order to escape, Wario must break the crates around the area to find the Escape Spring. Its location is randomized each entry, and crates that do not contain the Escape Spring will have Bombs instead. Later stages will have more crates, more Unithorns, and less land to work with.
