The Boomshot is a Locust weapon that resembles a cross between a rocket launcher and a grenade launcher. The weapon fires an explosive projectile that detonates on impact with a damaging explosion. A direct hit will destroy an average sized target. If the target is missed, upon detonation this projectile splits into three smaller charges which bounce randomly around the immidiate area (usually towards the direction the shot was taken in) and detonate with smaller explosions. The boomshot is a one-shot weapon and must be reloaded after each shot.
It is avaliable in both single player and multiplayer games.
