Win Number One[edit]

You will obtain this trophy the first time you win a race in A-spec Events. Despite the ambiguous description wording, it doesn't need to be the first race you enter.

The Right Direction[edit]

You will obtain this trophy the first time you win a race in B-spec Events. Despite the ambiguous description wording, it doesn't need to be the first race you enter.

Multi-Millionaire[edit]

The multi-millionaire trophy requires you to have a credit balance of 10,000,000 (ten million credits) or higher. It is not an accumulative total of all money you've earned in the game - you must have ten million credits available before the trophy will pop.

Within One Hundredth[edit]

The best way to earn this trophy is to use vehicles that have extremely close regulations, such as NASCAR, in Arcade Mode. Also, use an oval course (such as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval) and set the laps to an acceptable length (around 5). Make sure you are just slightly ahead (almost front bumpers equal, just yours slightly ahead).

Alternative method: This trophy can also be earned in the NASCAR Special Events. Beginner Event 1 involves passing one car and takes about 15 seconds to complete; finish very slightly ahead to get the trophy. Using the "chase" view will help you to judge when you're in front, and you can briefly lift off the throttle if you get too far ahead.

Arch Rivals[edit]

This trophy is easiest to get in a local 2 Player race in Arcade Mode. One player selects the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and the other player selects a Subaru IMPREZA WRX STI. Make sure to use the Arcade Only cars to ensure greater success. It does not matter who wins. Tracks, laps, or race conditions do not matter as well.

Dream Race[edit]

This trophy can be acquired through the Historic Racing Car Cup event in the Expert Series. Just choose one of the cars on the list (Ford Mark IV Race Car, Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car, or Jaguar XJ13 Race Car) and make sure the other two are in the race as well. Next, just win the race!

Human Stopwatch[edit]

The best way to achieve this trophy is by using an oval course (such as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval) in any mode in any car. Best to go with any car you can just floor the throttle with through the turns.

As an easier alternative, use one of the karting races.

Penniless[edit]

If you chose not to obtain this trophy immediately when starting the game, used cars and prize money can make it difficult to hit exactly 0 credits. However it is still relatively straightforward to obtain the trophy at any point in the game by the following method, providing your credit balance isn't too low to begin with:

Firstly, if your credit balance ends in any number other than 0, head to the Used Car Dealership, and buy any car where the price ends in the same number. For example if you have 229,244 credits, then a car costing 13,694 credits would be suitable. If it already ends in 0, skip this step.

Secondly, if you have a large amount of credits left, then buy some cars from the New Car Dealers. Combine with tuning to get your balance below about 2,000 credits and if possible ending on either 50 or 00 (e.g. 1,450 or 1,300).

Thirdly, if your credit balance doesn't end in either 00 or 50, then you need to finish a race in a position that earns an amount of prize money which brings your balance to this round number. The following are one possible way of doing this:

  • Balance ends in 10 - 5th place in any race in the Sunday Cup
  • Balance ends in 20 - 6th place in any race in the Lightweight K-Cup
  • Balance ends in 30 - 6th place in any race in the World Compact Car Race
  • Balance ends in 40 - 4th place in any race in the Sunday Cup
  • Balance ends in 60 - 5th place in any race in the Sunday Cup
  • Balance ends in 70 - 6th place in any race in the Lightweight K-Cup
  • Balance ends in 80 - 6th place in any race in the World Compact Car Race
  • Balance ends in 90 - 4th place in any race in the Sunday Cup

If your balance already ends in 00 or 50, go straight to the next step.

Finally, burn your remaining money. Perform oil changes at GT Auto Maintenance on your cars for 250 credits each. When you're below 250 credits switch to giving your cars a wash for 50 credits each. A few clean cars later, your balance will hit 0 and the trophy will pop.

Alternative method

Another option to obtaining this trophy is to wait until you have the maximum amount of money, $20,000,000. At this point, you can buy one of the $20,000,000 cars. Viola! You now have $0!

Finale[edit]

After completing the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Professional Series, the ending movie will be unlocked, and this trophy will pop.

Rollover[edit]

This trophy is very easy to obtain. Just start a event in Trial Mountain, with a decent car. On the last straght before the last turn, gas it. Then, when you see the final turn, hit the hill. Your car will flip if done correctly.
