In south Toad Town (by the train station) there is a Li'l Oinks farm. Mario can buy Li'l Oink "eggs" for ten coins and when he hits one with his hammer, it hatches. The pen at the farm only holds 10 Li'l Oinks, so when the 11th one hops in, the first one runs away leaving an ''item'' behind. Each type of Li'l Oink gives you a different item.
