The first Poison Pokemon you will be able to catch in these games. with it's unique skill to poison by touch Nidoran can be very helpfull at this point of the game, and later on as Nidoqueen.
The male form of this powerfull poison Pokemon. when it evolves it can become unstopable combining Poison and Ground types as Nidoking. It is much easier to catch him at Fire Red, Leaf Green players may wanna wait until the Safari to catch him.
#39 Jigglypuff
The well known balloon Pokemon, it got some desent attacks and can learn many kinds of powerfull TMs. It evolves with Moon Rock but it shouldn't be used lightly because when evolved, he will not learn anymore attacks by leveling-up.
