Wright Anything Agency

Apollo & Trucy are at the Agency, watching a report about a hijack during a TV Show in Khura'in, caused by the Defiant Dragons. Apollo is telling Trucy about how he knows Dhurke, the one who hijacked the show, when Dhurke himself shows up at the Wright Anything Agency! Trucy asks how Dhurke and Apollo are related, and he responds, saying that they are father and son! Apollo isn't too happy that Dhurke is here, especially after not visiting for such a long time. Dhurke has come to see his son...AND ask for help. Talk to Dhurke.

  • Dhurke: Dhurke introduces himself to Trucy. Trucy seems to like Dhurke's personality, but Apollo disagrees. Trucy then brings up the subject of Dhurke being the father of Apollo.
  • Foster father: Apollo grew up in the Kingdom of Khura'in. Trucy's a bit flustered that Apollo hasn't mentioned anything about this. Dhurke also questions why Apollo hasn't talked about his childhood. It's been ten years since Apollo and Dhurke have met. It's been so long, that Apollo has began forgetting Khura'in and his childhood on PURPOSE.
  • Request: Dhurke wants to have the Founder's Orb. It's a scared treasure of Khura'in. Apparently, the Defiant Dragons do not have it contrary to their broadcast and the news reports stating that they stole it. No one has seen it for a long time, but it was found by Datz Are'bal in Kurain Village. Its current owner is Archie Buff, an archeologist who was asked to study it by the real thief. Buff already accepted to give it to Dhurke, and that's where you come in to represent him during the transferal. Select Fine to accept to help Dhurke (or Nope just to have Trucy make you go back on your refusal since it'll be "fun").
  • The Founder's Orb: the orb has been excavated eight years ago. According to a legend, solving the riddle of the orb will grant immense spiritual power from the Holy Mother to the solver. With it, the Defiant Powers could gain the legal authority to rule Khura'in and overthrow Ga'ran. The Founder's Orb is added to the Court Record.

Dhurke offers Apollo some sushi, but he is still cold towards Dhurke, so he and Trucy eat them all. Dhurke has one more present: a photo of Apollo's biological father, Jove Justice. He was a roaming musician who died 23 years ago. Dhurke moved heaven and earth to uncover that one single photo, so even though Apollo hardly knew Jove, he still takes it. Photo of My Father is added to the Court Record.

Since Athena is still gone to fetch Phoenix from the airport (as he comes back today), it will only be you, Trucy and Dhurke on that little trip. Move to Kurain Village.

Kurain Village

The place is still as peaceful as back when Phoenix visited the first time. It reminds you of when you, Dhurke and Nahyuta were living in the mountains. After Dhurke shares some embarrassing facts about you and Nahyuta, Ema comes towards you, apparently not surprised to see you here. She guesses you are here to see Doctor Buff and proposes to take you to his house. Move to the Doctor's Study.

Doctor's Study

As any self-respecting archeologist, Doctor Buff has a lot of books and relics. You are more intrigued by the white outline on the floor. This outline is used to show where he died last night, accidentally killed by an avalanche of books shoving him off the huge bookshelf ladder to make a big fall on the floor. Well, that complicates the orb transferal. You need to Talk to Ema to know what happened.

  • The doctor's death: Buff was found dead under a pile of books. The death was reported this morning on the phone by an anonymous witness. Without the doctor around, we will have to find the orb ourselves.
  • The Founder's Orb: You fill Ema in on the purpose of your visit. Dhurke has an agreement in writing that Datz should currently have, so the transferal should still be legal.
  • Dhurke: you introduce Dhurke to Ema. She seems to recognize him (probably from that hijack broadcast), so you try to brush it off to not have Dhurke potentially expelled from the country back to Khura'in. She initially is not convinced, but she buys it.

Since you don't know what the orb looks like, you'll have to search the room for it. Ema gives you permission to do so.
