Template:All Game Nav During the first three day cycle, you will find yourself trapped as Deku Link, without an Ocarina, and unable to leave Clock Town. You cannot reclaim your Ocarina until the end of the 72 hours, so make the best use of this time by collecting as many rupees and items as possible.

Clock Town is divided into four main areas: North, South, East, and West Clock Town. Tatl will tell you to go see the Great Fairy in North Clock town so head north.

North Clock Town

North Clock Town doesn't have much of interest, but it is crucial to finish your adventure. Look left and you will see a ramp followed by a doorway. Enter and you will find the Great Fairy, but all scattered about in pieces. She says that you need to find the one stray fairy that is somewhere in Clock Town, so start looking!

The stray fairy can be tough to find and it changes its location depending on what time it is.

  • If it's daytime...
    • You'll find the stray fairy hovering around the pool of water in the Laundry Pool. This is a little hard to find if you don't know where it is. Go to South Clock Town and look for the mailbox that is near the gate that takes you to West Clock Town. You will then see a ramp and this will lead you to the Laundry Pool
  • If it's nightime...
    • The stray fairy will be located in East Clock Town, hovering between the Treasure mini-game place (shaped like a treasure chest) and the Stock Pot Inn. Use the conviently placed deku buba to reach the stray fairy.

Once you have the stray fairy in your possession, take it back to the Great Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town and the Great Fairy will be back to normal. In exchange for your efforts, you will be able to use magic power that will allow you to blow bubbles from your nose like snot!

You probably be itching to try out your new power so why don't you help out the kid in North Clock Town pop that ballon? If you do, the kid will be amazed and will ask you if you would like to join their bombers' club...with a catch. Saying yes and you must now take the kids test to see if you qualify. To do that you must find all five of the Bombers' gang by touching them when they run away before the next morning and he will tell you something cool!

To improve your chances of winning, talk to the kid, named Jim, who is trying to pop the ballon in the morning. That way, you will have around 20 or so hours to find all five of them. Here are their locations.

  • North Clock Town
    • One is very close to the second tree that is near the Great Fairy's Fountain
    • Jim, the leader, is hiding near the slide that is by the other tree.
  • West Clock Town
    • One is standing near the Bank and the Shop.
  • South Clock Town

(There aren't any in South Clock Town or the Laundry Pool.)

  • East Clock Town
    • Another is standing on the Milk Bar's roof. To reach it, go to the back of the milk bar and walk up the ramp. Once you get there, he takes a Cucco and takes off! He will eventually land however.
    • The sneakest one is found on the Stock Pot Inn's roof. To get up there, use the deku buba that is near the giant treasure chest shaped building. Make him fall off!

East Clock Town

If you do find all of them before the next morning, Jim will teach you the code. The code is a five numbered code which is placed one through five without reusing a number. The code is completly random and will vary between save file and save file. Now you must talk to the Bomber in the orange bandana and tell him the code. He will let you pass.

Astral Observatory

Hop across the water and defeat the Skulltula with a bubble blast when it has it's back turned. Shoot the ballon with a bubble, climb up the later, and enter the Observatory. Climb up the stairs and speak to the man who is looking through the telescope. He thinks that a person is causing trouble around the Clock Tower so focus your sights there. Zoom in on the top of the Clock Tower to see Skull Kid and watch as the moon drops a Moon's Tear to Earth. Go outside, grab the Moon's Tear and head back.

South Clock Town

Now you just need to investigate the Clock Tower to see how you get up there yourself! The man who was looking through the telescope said that the only way to get up there is by the stairs which only opens at the eve of the carnival. If you wait till' midnight on the final day, the Clock Tower will reformat itself and the stairs to get to the top of the tower will be open.

Know you need a way to get up there. The yellow deku buba by the mailbox near the West Clock Town enterance looks to be the only way, only it's owned by another Deku Scrub. He says he will do anything to get his hands on a Moon's Tear so trade the Moon's Tear for the Land Title Deed. (which is pretty much useless now but it's the key to get a couple Pieces of Heart later!) Jump in, hover to the stairs, grab the Piece of Heart near the stairs, and go up the stairs to confront the Skull Kid!

Clock Tower

Skull Kid sits there waiting, your ocarina tossing up and down in Skull Kid's hand and you are running out of time! Now you have to battle the Skull Kid...or do you. The only way you can damage him now is to shoot him with bubbles but they have no effect! However, Skull Kid accidentaly drops your ocarina on the ground. Pick it up and you suddenlly are lost in a flashback.

It's Princess Zelda who gave you the Ocarina of Time for keepsake at the end of Ocarina of Time. She also teaches you a song, The Song of Time! With this song, you can get out of the trouble you are in now.

After Tatl wakes you up and tells you that there is no hope, you must now play The Song of Time. Instead of an ocarina, you get pipes, but they still work the same way. Then the game will ask if you want to save the game and go back to Dawn of the First Day. Say yes

South Clock Town

Soon later, your are back in South Clock Town, on the Dawn of the First Day. Tatl tells you that everything has "started over." Tatl also tells you that you got back the "precious item that was stolen from you" so now you must see the Mask Salesman again.

He will now teach you another song, which is The Song of Healing. This song has the power to cure pain and cursed souls so now you go back to your normal self! Anytime you want to be a Deku Scrub again, put on the Deku Mask.

Now the Happy Mask Salesman will want his end of the bargin, his mask. After you tell him that you don't have it, he will then tell you the reason why you need to get that mask back. After you hear what he has to say, your adventure finally begins!
