The following page lists all of the items that Link can find and use.

Equipment

These are the items you find during your journey that Link can equip. They don't go into C slots but are equipped. They include 4 slots Tunic, Boots, Sword, and Shield.

Clothing

  • Kokiri Tunic
The basic green tunic that Link begins his adventure with. No special effects.
  • Goron Tunic
This fiery red tunic protects Link from the intense heat of the Fire Temple and Death Mountain.
  • Zora Tunic
This blue tunic lets link breathe underwater.

Boots

  • Kokiri Boots
Link's original boots. No special effects.
  • Iron boots
These heavy boots allow Link to walk underwater without floating to the surface.
  • Hover Boots
These boots let you briefly walk across midair. To activate the boots, walk off of a ledge. Link will keep moving as if there were still solid ground beneath him. The effect only lasts a couple of seconds. Found in the Shadow Temple.

Swords

  • Kokiri sword
The very first sword you get, and the only sword that child Link can use.
  • Master Sword
The Legendary sword that locks the portal to the Triforce. This is the sword that Link uses as an adult.
  • Giant's Knife
This huge knife is crafted by a giant Goron in Death Mountain. It's a mighty blade requiring two hands to wield (leaving Link without a shield) but it breaks after some use.

Shields

  • Deku Shield
Small wooden shield that child Link uses. Can be purchased from stores. This shield is flimsy and made of wood, fire attacks burn and destroy it.
  • Hylian Shield
This shield is used by Hylian soldiers. As a child it's too heavy and you simply crouch and use it like a turtle shell. As an adult you are stronger and can wield it in front of you to deflect attacks.
  • Mirror Shield
This magical shield can reflect some light and magical spells. It's retrieved in the Spirit Temple.

These are items that are equipped to the C slots and can be used with the flick of your thumb. Mainly they are items that you retriveve from dungeons but there are a few others in there.

  • Deku Seed
Use these small seeds as ammunition for the slingshot. Can be purchased in stores.
