After you remove all of the cores from the fully revealed fortress, the true composition of the System will be revealed. It is actually composed of three large organic brains, each fueled by a large life support system. These life support systems can heal any damage sustained by the brains in a matter of seconds. For this reason, it is vital that you attack them and remove them first before attempting to attack the brains. The center brain's life support system is actually above it, which is unfortunate for you if you do not possess a Special Weapon that is capable of blasting through an enemy. You will have to find another way to attack the center life support system. It is not possible to bombard a brain faster than the life support system can repair it, the life-support system must be destroyed first. | After you remove all of the cores from the fully revealed fortress, the true composition of the System will be revealed. The brains fire a unique type of weapon known as Bloms. Bloms are orbs that look similar to Mios, but they move in an almost random fashion. While they generally seek out the position of the Zanac, they move in various directions. They can be shot and destroyed, but they can sustain quite a bit of damage before being removed. When you attack the brains, they begin to shrivel. Without their life support systems, they will never regain their size. Eventually, you can wear down the brain until all that is left is a small round turret underneath. You must blast this turret to fully destroy a brain, and you must do so to all three brains to conclude the battle against the System. | ||
