The only plane that can consistently defeat a Zero, the P-38 handles like a fighter pilot's dream. Nicknamed by the Japanese as the "fork-tailed devil", it certainly lives up to its name. Not only does its forked tail allow for unbelievable turns, it also makes the plane have a huge hole in it and reducing its profile considerably. Many players often shoot right through the forked tail of the P-38 and miss completely. Additionally, all the weaponry on the plane is mounted on the nose, allowing for extreme ease of flying and dogfighting. These are far, far superior to Wildcats and can fry any plane in the sky - although its Japanese counterpart, the J1N Gekko, gives it a run for its money. | |||
