In Chapter 2, Franco alerts Professor Layton to a mysterious theft. At the scene of the crime, Franco found a mysterious gizmo. He gives it to Professor Layton and thus starts the Gizmo side-quest.

Layton and Luke will occasionally receive gizmos for solving puzzles.

Where to Find

  1. Franco gives Professor Layton his first gizmo in the Plaza during Chapter 2.
  2. Solve Puzzle 016 for Rodney to receive a gizmo. He resides in the Town Hall.
  3. Solve Puzzle 019 for Professor Layton. Tap the Laytonmobile to trigger the Puzzle.
  4. Solve Puzzle 021 for Pauly. He hangs around Park Road.
  5. Solve Puzzle 023 for Crouton. He owns the Restaurant.
  6. Solve Puzzle 025 for Flick. He spends his time in the Restaurant.
  7. Solve Puzzle 027 for Gordon. He stays in the Manor Parlor.
  8. Solve Puzzle 028 for Matthew. He is either in the Manor Foyer or Manor Parlor.
