Template:Infobox Torchlight is an action RPG for the PC that debuted at E3 2009 as Runic Games' first game.
Runic Games plans on releasing a standalone single player version prior to releasing it as a traditional MMORPG. The single player version is expected to include a "Mod Toolset" to customize the game's properties and create new characters and dungeons, while the multiplayer version will contain additional preset characters and will be free to play with a microtransaction system. Pricing for the single player game has not been announced.
Story
Heroes from the town of Torchlight explore the nearby mountains for magical ore with dangerous properties.
