The parties suggested in the walkthrough allow you to use all of the jobs in the one playthrough. There may be better party compositions than are listed, and you may personally like one job over another. Consider these parties as suggestions only if you're not sure what to use, or the party you're using isn't working against a boss.
If you want to get powerful weapons later in the game, you should either stick to using the same party composition throughout the entire game, or commit to some mindless grinding. These special weapons are only available if you have attained job level 99 in a job.
