Ki and Gil will enter this room through the door at the centre-right of it. It contains eight "Pink" Ropers (which are white and take 568 hits to kill) and one Black Lizardman (which takes 602 hits to kill). The narrowness of passages, however, may make them extremely difficult to avoid (see image).
This room, like the left side of Empty Cistern, wraps around vertically - and if you proceed in either direction, you will end up back where you started.
That Treasure Chest in the wall's hole at the top-centre-left of the room will not have any noticeable effect on Ki after she uses the Blue Crystal Rod.
The key at the centre of the room opens that aforementioned door at centre-right of the room. There is no key for the door at centre-left of the room.
The aforementioned door at the centre-right of the room leads back to Red Court (Room Pass: 939 - same as Slave Pen). So not only will you have to risk your life to collect the only key in the room, you will also learn that the only way out is the way you came in. At least this one is not impossible.
