Ki and Gil will enter this room through the door at the top-right of it. It contains four Blue Knights (which take thirteen hits to kill and have red eyes) and four Black Knights (which take twenty-two hits to kill and have red visors). Those Black Knights may appear to not have eyes, but can still see.
The key at the top-left of the room opens the aforementioned door at the top-right of the room, the key at the left of the room opens the door at the bottom-right of the room, and the key at the bottom-left of the room opens that door at the top-centre-right of the room. You should remember this.
The aforementioned door at the top-right of the room leads back to Solarium (Room Pass: QC9), the door at the bottom-right of the room leads off to The Staircase (Room Pass: YC7), and the door at the top-centre-right of the room leads to Training Yard (Room Pass: 937). Remember these now...
