Quox's Labyrinth
  • Ki and Gil will enter this room through: either the second door at the top-left of it (if they came from Private Alter), the one at the bottom-left of it (if they came from Upward Passway), or the one at the bottom-centre-left of it (if they came from Thief's Hideout). It contains ten Dark Yellow Slimes (which take 168 hits to kill) and one Hyper Knight (which takes 306 hits to kill). But Quox himself, however, will not appear for thirteen more rooms.
  • That Treasure Chest in the wall's hole at the bottom of the room will increase the denominator of Gil's energy fraction to 400 - so do not pass it up.
  • That second key at the top-left of the room opens that aforementioned door at the bottom-left of the room, that key at the left of the room opens the aforementioned door at the bottom-centre-left of the room, the key at the top of the room opens the door at the top-centre-right of the room, the key at the bottom-centre-right of the room opens the first door at the top-right of the room, and that second key up at the top-right of the room opens the second door at the top-right of the room. That first key at the top-left of the room, the first key at the top-right of the room and the key at the bottom-left of the room do not open any of the doors in the room, which means that there are no keys for the other three doors in the room. Remember this.
  • The aforementioned door at the bottom-left of the room leads back to Upward Passway (Room Pass: DF2), the aforementioned door at the bottom-centre-left of the room leads back to Thief's Hideout (Room Pass: 7V2), the door at the top-centre-right of the room, like the one at the bottom-right of Dormitory, leads to Mazy Quarter (Room Pass: YC2), the first door at the top of the room leads back to Library (Room Pass: Q32), and the second door at the top of the room leads to Dragon's Lair (Room Pass: QC9 - same as Solarium). The last of these rooms shares its name with a 1983 laserdisc game by Cinematronics - and it is the room where the aforementioned Quox makes his appearance.
