Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II/Walkthrough

This guide contains the most efficient route to complete all mission objectives and find all secret areas. However, there are many other interesting objects and areas if you fully explore each map.

You play as Kyle Katarn, the protagonist of the previous game Star Wars: Dark Forces. His Jedi rank can advance and Powers can be unlocked after missions are completed. Stars can be earned by completing a mission or finding all its secrets, and they can be assigned to unlocked powers after completing each mission.

Although the first Light and Dark Side powers are unlocked after mission 11 - The Brothers of the Sith, after mission 14 - Maw - The Revenge your alignment only allows you to assign Stars to one or the other, and any Stars assigned to powers of the opposing alignment are unassigned again: if you're true to the Light Side then from now on you can only assign Stars to Neutral and Light Side powers, and if you assigned at least one Star to Light Side powers and none to Dark Side powers then Protection is unlocked; if you're seduced by the Dark Side then from now on you can only assign Stars to Neutral and Dark Side powers, and if you assigned at least one Star to Dark Side powers and none to Light Side powers then Deadly Sight is unlocked.
