Castlevania: Circle of the Moon/Thief

Thief is the the last mode, and much less aggravating than the last one. You have the lowest HP, MP, Hearts, strength, defense, and intelligence of any mode. What you do have is tremendous luck (to illustrate this, the VampireKiller has a luck of 1080 at level 99; the thief will reach 1080 luck at level 4). This means that enemies drop items at a tremendously high rate. Most drops will reach their caps (50% chance for common drops, 25% chance for rare drops) and even the rarest drops (Wight, Specter, and Merman) will have a 7% chance of dropping a rare item (up from 0.15%) if you max out your luck. This means you will be able to stockpile 99 of each item in a few minuets allowing you to rely on potions instead of magic to heal. It also gives you practically infinite magic and hearts. Overall Thief is harder than the first three, but easier than Shooter.
