This page is a work in progress. It has sections which are incomplete or currently under construction. If you have knowledge of this game or subject, you can either help by editing it to add to or improve the page, or discussing it on the talk page.

To Activate this Quest, you must complete the quest Bruma Gate from the main story. After speaking with Jauffre, who asks you to gather support from all the other cities of Cyrodill, and so the quest begins.

Anvil

Countess Millona Umbranox
Attendance hours are 9am to 4pm

Go to Castle Anvil, speak with Countess Millona Umbranox. Ask for Aid for Bruma, she is willing to help, but not with an Oblivion Gate just outside the city walls. If you have closed the gate already she will lend support.

The Oblivion Gate

Just northwest of Anvil is the Oblivion Gate. Once in the Wastes of Oblivion follow the path southwest. Continue along it southeast, and when it you reach the fork in the road, take the southwest path. Never mind the two towers, keep your eyes on the west wall from this point on. There is a doorway kind of camouflaged into the wall called Nether Tunnels, head on in.

Take either tunnel to be on your way, it doesn't matter which, and head southwest. The door, Oblivion Cave, shouldn't be to hard to find. Inside, follow the north path and head down the northeast tunnel after that, head down this route and enter the Oblivion Cave. This leads back out to the Wastes of Oblivion.

Back outside take the northeast route. At the end of the path is a doorway to The Red Gnash Channels. Inside again, take the northwest trail and follow it until you see opening along the northeast wall. Go in and follow the path to its end, where a doorway leads back to Wastes of Oblivion.

Take either Rending Halls doorway and follow the path to a room. There is an opening along the north wall, enter and follow it until you reach The Flesh Spire doorway. Head up the ramp until coming to a door along the south wall leading to Dead Halls. Go up the path and until you find a small room. North will be a path which will bring you up, take the path, at the top is another room accompanied by a couple doors along the south wall which will bring you to The Flesh Spire.

Finally, follow this spire all the way up until you reach the final room, Sigillum Sanguis. Go up the spiked staircase on either side of this area and then up the red ramp. You are at the top of the tower now, head to the center and remove the Sigil Stone.

Head on back to Castle Anvil and speak with Countess Millona Umbranox, picking Aid for Bruma to complete this part of the quest.

Bravil

Cheydinhal

Chorrol

Countess Valga
Attendance hours are 8am to 6pm

Go to Castle Chorrol and into the great hall. Talk to Countess Valga and ask about Aid for Bruma. She too is willing to help, but not with an Oblivion Gate just outside the city walls. If you have closed the gate already she will lend support.

The Oblivion Gate

If you encounter Eruption Gate instead of Tsunami Gate, take the same information and flip the directions.

From the gate head down the south path and you'll notice that your path is blocked by a Tsunami Gate. Back track towards the Oblivion Gate and hang a left and look along the east wall for the entrance to the Tsunami tower. Use the Corpse Masher to head up the tower. Head up the tower and find the Tornado Gate Control and hit it, this will open the Tsunami Gate.

Did you go up Eruption instead of Tsunami? Take the information and flip the directions again. The tower entrance you will be looking for is called Earthquake instead of Hurricane.

From here exit out the bottom of the tower. Go back west when outside, towards the Oblivion Gate and head back south to the Tsunami gate. JUST to the west after the gate is a door to the Hurricane tower, head on in. Use the Corpse Masher to head up the tower, there will be a door about halfway up the tower.

Cross the bridge outside bringing you to the Portal of Natural Disaster. You can finally start the climb to the Sigil Stone. Inside is a door south of yours which will bring you to the Rending Halls. Go straight when you are in the Rending Halls through the Citadel Hall Door and head up the path, being careful of the dropping blades from the ceiling. At the end of the path are two doors both leading back to Portal of Natural Disaster.

Up the ramp in here is a door leading to Corridors of Dark Salvation. Inside take either path all the way up, it will bring you to a room. Along the east wall is another Portals of Natural Disaster doorway. Head up and enter either doorway to the Sigillum Sanguis. Go up the spiked staircase on either side of this area and then up the red ramp. You are at the top of the tower now, head to the center and remove the Sigil Stone.

Head on back to Countess Valga in Castle Chorrol and talk to her about Aid for Bruma to complete this part of the quest.

Imperial City

At the Imperial City Palace, enter the Elder Council Chamber and find High Chancellor Ocato. Ask him for Aid for Bruma. He will deny you troops, completing this part of the quest.

Kvatch

Head to Kvatch and work your way through the ruined city to the Kvatch Castle Great Hall. Here you will find Salvian. Ask him about Aid for Bruma to complete this part of the quest.

Leyawiin

Skingrad

Mercator Hosidus
Mercator has a weird attendence schedule in the County Hall. Some days he is in there the whole day, 8am to 8pm. Some occasions he doesn't show up at all. If he is not there, wait in 2 hour intervals for him to show up. Also, make sure you haven't killed him. It is required that he dies in the Mages Guild quest, Ulterior Motives.

In Skingrad you will first need to locate Mercator Hosidus and ask him for Aid for Bruma, he'll summon the count for you. If Mercator has died or been killed for one reason or another, another way to speak with the count would be to talk to his Steward, Hal-Liurz about A Vampire Cure. other than that, you will need to break in to the Count's Manor to speak with him. Just wait around if one of his assistants has gone to get him for you. Once you touch base with Count Janus, ask for Aid for Bruma. He is willing to help, but not with the threat of an Oblivion Gate just outside the city walls. If you have closed the gate already he will lend support.

Oblivion Gate

From the Oblivion Gate, go southwest up the hill and you should see a door on called The Tower Portal to The Anguis Keep. The door to the Halls of Eternal Twilight will be on the opposite from where you entered. Head up the path and at the entrance make a hard left at the room, and open the Citadel Hall Door. Head up this path to the room and exit to The Anguish Keep.

In this room there are two doors, Waste of Oblivion, and Halls of Shame. Skip the Waste of Oblivion door and enter Halls of Shame. In Halls of Shame, hug the right wall until you reach another Citadel Hall Door, open it. Head up the ramp and open the door at the end of it but be careful, there will be two defense turrets in this room. Hang another hard left, open this Citadel Hall Door and head in. Follow the path up and enter The Anguish Keep through the doorway along the south wall.

There is only one way to go from here, up. At the top is two door, either leads to the same area, The Anguish Shrine. Head up the path, there will be two openings to a room along the south wall and a door, Wastes of Oblivion, on the north wall. Go in either of the two openings and up the spiked staircase on either side of this area. Notice along the south wall of this floor is a mechanism? Activate the Geared Batten beside them. Immediately after you activate the gears, go back down the spiked staircase, exit the room and now go through the Wastes of Oblivion doorway. The bridge will be connecting for you, but will retract. Cross the bridge and enter The Sorrow Shrine.

Head straight into the big red room and up the spiked staircase. Trigger the switch next to the gears up here. Go back down and out of the room and head down one of the hallways to The Sorrow Keep. Follow the path down until you reach the Halls of Shame doorway. Along the west wall is a Citadel Hall Door, open, go in and follow the path down the end of the hallway and open the Citadel door next to the hall you just through and follow the path. At the end of the path, in the room is a door to The Sorrow Keep.

This room is identical to the one from the other tower where you skipped the Wastes of Oblivion doorway, but this time, head through it. Cross the bridge and to The Brooding Fortress, the tower with the Sigil Stone. Head up the path going southeast and and enter the Corridors of Dark Salvation door at the top. Follow the path up to a room and find another path heading up, follow it up. At the end of the pathway is a door leading back to The Brooding Fortress.

Inside follow the path upwards until you reach the top where the entrance to the Sigillum Sanguis is. Go up the path inside and enter the room along the inside walls. Go up the spiked staircase on either side of this area and then up the red ramp. You are at the top of the tower now, head to the center and remove the Sigil Stone.

Once the Oblivion Gate is shut, head on back to Castle Skingrad and speak with Count Janus, choosing the Aid for Bruma option to complete this part of the quest.
