Trainers

About Trainers

  • There are 5 trainers for each of the 21 skills
    • Two trainers are Low Level and will train up to level 40
    • Two trainers are Advanced and will train up to level 70 and then refer you the Master trainer
    • There is one Master Trainer who will train to level 100
  • The trainers charge for each level of training, the amount is based on the level of the skill to be trained
  • You can train any skill(s) a total of 5 levels for each character level
    • At character level 1 you can go to a trainer or trainers and level up one skill 5 levels or 5 skills one level or any combination for a total of 5 levels
      • Once you have trained a total of 5 levels you will be unable to train until you reach character level 2
  • There are many books you can read which will increase one skill by one level
    • Simply opening the book grants the skill increase


Acrobatics

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Quill-Weave in Anvil from 6am to 12 noon
  • Ida Vlinorman in the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City between 7am and 1pm

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Tsrava at J'Bari's house in Leyawiin from 9am to 9pm
  • Ganredhel in Cheydinhal from 4am to 10am

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Acrobatics
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Aerin at Aerin's camp north of Cheydinhal and east of Azura's shrine
    • Aerin is not at the camp, speak with Torbern at Aerin's Camp about Training


Alchemy

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • S'drassa at the Leyawiin Mages Guild
  • Felen Reias at Anvil Mages Guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Ardaline at the Bravil Mages Guild
  • Brotch Calus east of the Great Chapel of Talos in Brums

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Alchemy and two specific bottles of wine
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Sinderion in the basement of the West Weald Inn in Skingrad
    • Sinderion will want one bottle each of Surilie Brothers and Tamika wines from 399


Alteration

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Deestan the Cheydinhal Mages Guild
  • Dovyn Aren in the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Abhuki at the Faregyl Inn south of Imperial City
  • Athragar at the Mages Guild in Chorrol

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Alteration and a water breathing spell
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Tooth-in-the-Sea on the coast north of Bravil
    • Tooth-in-the-Sea will be underwater in the bay, speak to him before 1pm.
    • He will want you to use a water breathing spell for three hours.
    • Stay near Tooth-in-the-Sea during the three hours.


Armorer

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Eitar east of the Great Chaple of Zenithar in Leyawiin
  • Tadrose Helas at the Fighters Guild in Bravil

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Rohssan at A Fighting Chance in Imperial City
  • Rasheda at Fire and Steel in Chorrol

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Armorer
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Gin-Wulm at The Best Defense in the Imperial City Market District
    • Gin-Wulm, an Argonian, spends much of his time wandering in The Market and Elven Garden Districts of Imperial City
    • Gin-Wulm will want you to read The Armorer's Challenge, you can buy it at First Editions in the Imperial City Market District


Athletics

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Uuras in Skingrad
  • Mahei in Leyawiin

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Honditar southwest of Chorrol
  • Hauls-Ropes-Faster at The Fo'c's'le or on the boardwalk just outside of Anvil's southwest gate

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Athletics
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Rusia Bradus at Silgor Bradus' house in Anvil
    • You must have discovered at least 30 places, the number of places discovered is listed on the last tab of the F1 window


Blade

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Right-Wind at the Fighters Guild in Bruma
  • Naspia Cosma at Castle Cheydinhal

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Sherina at the Leyawiin Fighters Guild
  • Rhano at the Anvil Fighters Guild

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Blade and 20 in either Fame or Infamy
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Alix Lencolia at the Faregyl Inn south of Imperial City
    • Lake Rumare has two rivers to the south, Faregyl Inn is just south of the eastern river


Block

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Huurwen at the Fighters Guild in Anvil
  • Fadus Calidius at the Skingrad Fighters Guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Lum gro-Baroth at the Chorrol Fighters Guild
  • Ambroise Canne in the southwest corner of Skingrad

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Block
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Andragil in Bravil
    • Her house is across from the Bravil Fighters Guild
    • She will attack you for 45 seconds and you may not hit back
    • Use a shield and heal spells or potions to stay alive


Blunt

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Bugak gro-Bol at Southern Books in Leyawiin
  • Vigdis at the Anvil Fighters guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Christhophe Marane at the Brina Cross Inn northeast of Anvil
  • Azzan at the Anvil Fighters Guild

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Blunt and have killed at least 50 people
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Irene Metrick in the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City
    • People Killed is listed on the last tab of the F1 window


Conjuration

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Sulinus Vassinus the the Skingrad Mages Guild
  • Fathis Aren at Castle Bravil

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Alberic Litte in the Chorrol Mages Guild
  • Arentus Falvius at the Great Chapel of Talos in Bruma

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Conjuration and Summon Faded Wraith spell or scroll
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Olyn Seran at Molag Bal's shrine west of Imperial City
    • Molag Bal's Shrine is straight west from the Imperial City Temple District
    • Olyn will require you to summon a Faded Wraith


Destruction

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • J'skar in the Bruma Mages Guild, must have completed first Bruma Mages Guild quest
  • Chanel at Castle Chorrol, must not have completed Canvas the Castle Quest

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Delphine Jend at the Bravil Mages Guild
  • Marc Gulitte at the Anvil Mages Guild

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Destruction, Disposition of 80 and 20 bear pelts
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Andaren at Kynareth's Shrine west of Weatherleah Estate
    • Bear pelts can be bought from some merchants
    • Caution: 20 bear pelts will weight 160 pounds


Hand-To-Hand

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Nahsi at the Bravil Fighters Guild
  • Rufrius Vinicius at the Anvil Fighters guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Davela Hlaren at the Imperial Bridge Inn
  • Ra'qanar at Catle Cheydinhal

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Hand-To-Hand
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Helvius Cecia in Bruma
    • Punch him for 30 seconds and keep him from getting bored

Heavy Armor

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Brodras at the Leyawiin Fighters Guild
  • Bumph gra-Gash at the Bruma Fighters Guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Varnado at The Best Defense in the Market District of Imperial City
  • Valus Odiil in Chorrol

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Heavy Armor and a Silver Pitcher and 4 Silver Glasses
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Pranal at the Roxy Inn
    • Pranal will want a Silver Pitcher and 4 Silver Glasses before training
      • Stolen items will work

Illusion

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Jantus Brolus at Istrius Brolus's house in Bruma
  • Hil the Tall at the Chapel of Arkey in Cheydinhal

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Kud-Ei at the Bravil Mages Guild
  • Carahil at the Anvil Mages Guild

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Illusion and 10 Welkynd Stones
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Martina Floria in the Chironasium at the Arcane University in Imperial City
    • Welkynd Stones can be found in Ayleid ruins
    • There are 10 Welkynd Stones in Fanacasecul
      • Take the bridge west from Imperial City and follow the road south


Light Armor

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Olfand at Nord Winds in Bruma
  • Dul gro-Shug in the northeast of the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Luciana Galena in Bravil
  • Ahdarji in Leyawiin

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Light Armor and an Elven cuirass
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • J'Bari in Leyawiin

Marksman

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Elda Dark-Heart in Regner's house on the south side of Bruma
  • Shameer west of the Great Chapel of Julianos in Skingrad

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Pinar Inventius in Anvil
  • Reman Broder southwest corner of Skingra

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Marksman and Disposition of 80
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Alawen at Troll Candle Camp east of Anvil
    • Visit Troll Candle Camp between 10pm and 4am.
    • You may have to wait later than 10pm if she was on a long hunt


Mercantile

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Foroch at the Gottshaw Inn west of Kvatch on the Gold Coast road
  • Mach-Na at Mach-Na's Books in Cheydinhal, near the west gate
    • She sells Advances in Lock Picking which will increase Security skill

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Margarte at Margarte's house in Leyawiin
  • Seed-Neeus at Northern Trade Goods in Chorrol, near the south gate

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Mercantile and 10,000 gold
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Palonirya at Divine Elegance in the Market District of Imperial City
    • Palonirya will check to see if you have 10,000 gold the first time she trains you


Mysticism

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Angalmo at the Chorrol Mages Guild
  • Druja at the Skingrad Mages Guild

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Boderi Farano at the Mystic Archives in the Arcane University in Imperial City
    • You must have completed the Mage's Guild "Recommendation" quest to enter the University
  • Ita Rienus at the Bravil Mages Guild

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Mysticism and have closed 3 Oblivion gates
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Dagail at the Leyawiin Mages Guild

Restoration

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Marie Palielle at The Great Chapel of Julianos in Skingrad
  • Cirroc at The Great Chapel of Talos in Bruma

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Marz at The Great Chapel of Mara in Bravil
  • Ohtesse at The Great Chapel of Arkay in Cheydinhal

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Restoration
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Oleta at the camp south of Kvatch
    • Kvatch must be secured so you must have closed the Kvatch Oblivion Gate and have completed the quest "The Battle for Castle Kvatch"
    • Once Kvatch is secure Oleta will be at the camp south of Kvatch
    • Speaking to Oleta at The Chapel of Akatosh before securing Kvatch will give the quest "Restoration Training", this adds a map pointer to Oleta when the quest is selected

Security

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Malintus Ancrus in southwest Chorrol
  • Samuel Bantien in the Talos Plaza District of Imperial City

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Dro'Shanji in Bravil
  • Mandil at Othrelo's house in the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Security
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • J'baana in the Imperial Prison District of Imperial City
    • He will be wandering in the northeast, talk to him through one of the gates

Notes

  • Mach-Na at Mach-Na's Books in Cheydinhal, near the west gate sells Advances in Lock Picking which will increase Security skill

Sneak

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • City-Swimmer in Bravil
  • Glistel in Chorrol

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Othrelos in the Elven Gardens District of Imperial City
  • Mirabelle Monet at The Fo'c's'le on the boardwalk just outside of Anvil's southwest gate

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Sneak
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Marana Rain in the Temple District of Imperial City
    • Must steal a coin from Marana Rain


Speechcraft

Low Level (up to lvl 40)

  • Alga in Bruma
  • Uravasa Othelas at the Great Chapel of Mara in Bravil

Advanced (up to lvl 70)

  • Varon Vamori in Bravil
  • Gruiand Garrana at the Great Chapel of Arkay in Cheydinhal

Master (up to lvl 100)

  • Must have level 70 Speechcraft
    • Talk to either advanced trainer who will send you to
  • Tandilwe at the Temple of the One in Imperial City's Temple District
    • She will task you with speaking to all of the beggars
      • There are 19, 5 in Imperial City and 2 each in the 7 major cities
