Ragnarok Online/Skills

In Ragnarok Online, Skills include a wide variety of different special abilities, such as magic, special attacks, the ability to create items, and passive stat bonuses. There are two categories of skills, active and passive.

Active skills are ones where you are required to specifically use in order to gain their benefits. An example would be the Swordman's Bash skill, which is a special attack that deals more damage than the Swordman's normal attack would deal.

Passive skills generally increase stats, recovery speed, or provide special affects to other skills. Unlike active skills, passive skills are always in effect and never need to be activated.
