Welcome to the game. Once the background has appeared behind Beraboh Man and his energy bar has filled up at the bottom of the screen, Alpha Man will appear to provide a "how to play" walkthrough of the game's controls. You do not have to be able to read either of the two Japanese syllabic writing systems (Hiragana and Katakana) to work out what he is telling you to do - so start running to the right and punch the four Unbaba as they appear, then crouch down and headbutt the three Mini Tanks just before the pipe. Once you have done so, stand up and kick the Dokanga when it emerges from the pipe, then jump onto the pipe and collect the Fuku it has left behind. Just before the end of the stage, you will have to jump onto the lower part of a platform made up from pipes - and when you jump over the upper part soon after, it is possible for you to kick Alpha Man in mid-air just for fun. Once Beraboh Man has made it to the other side of this platform, he will proceed to the second stage.
Welcome to the game. Once the background has appeared behind Beraboh Man and his energy bar has filled up at the bottom of the screen Alpha Man will fly down into view from the top of the screen and provide a "how to play" walkthrough of the game's controls by speaking the Hiragana/Katakana text Watashi no oshie wo kiki nasai. Kimi nomi kata, arufā yūse ijinda. (わたしのおしえをききなさ. キミのみかた、アルファーゆうせいじんだ.) to Beraboh Man; so you will first have to start running to the right and punch the four Unbaba as they come flying towards you, then crouch down and headbutt the three Mini Tanks just before you come to a pipe. You will then have to stand up and kick the Dokanga that is hiding in the pipe when it emerges, then jump onto the pipe and collect the Fuku it has left behind - and you will now have to jump onto the lower part of a platform made up from several more pipes. Once you have jumped over the upper part of that platform, it is possible for you to kick Alpha Man in mid-air just for fun, and he will speak that Katakana/Hiragana text Ahotare! Nani sun nen!! (アホタレ! なにすんねん!!) to Beraboh Man if you do so; once Beraboh Man has landed on the other side of that platform, the "stage clear" jingle will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 (it is also heard if he reverts to his original form) and he will proceed on to the second stage.
