SNES

  • L Button+R Button+Select Button+Start Button - Resets the game to the main menu.

Dialogue

  • A Button - Continues dialogue.
  • Y Button - Switches dialogue box vertical position.

When Controlling a Character

  • Neutral Dpad - Moves the character or cursor.
  • A Button - Interaction (talking, touching, taking) and confirmation.
  • B Button - Run, cancel actions, backs out one menu tier.
  • X Button - Opens the party/options menu.
  • Start Button - Pause the game.

Playstation

Dialogue

  • Cross button - Continues dialogue.
  • Square button - Switches dialogue box vertical position.

When Controlling a Character

  • Triangle button - Opens the party/options menu.
  • Cross button - Interaction (talking, touching, taking) and confirmation (yes/no, etc.).
  • Square button - Open Character exchange screen
  • Circle button - Run, cancel actions, backs out one menu tier.
  • L1 button - Escape from battle (L1+R1)
  • R1 button - Escape from battle (L1+R1)
  • Start button - Pause game
