SNES

Dialogue

  • A Button: Continues dialogue.
  • Y Button: Switches dialogue box vertical position.

When Controlling a Character

  • A Button: Interaction (talking, touching, taking) and confirmation.
  • B Button: Run, cancel actions, backs out one menu tier.
  • Y Button: Display the end of time switch screen (after gaining a fourth character).
  • Start Button: Pause the game.

Exploration

  • A Button: Enters locations and lands a vehicle/mount if over a traversable area.
  • Select Button: Displays the world map.
  • Y Button: Displays time travel menu when controlling the Epoch (Aero-Dalton Imperial).
    • L Button / Down Dpad or R Button / Down Dpad: Adjusts which time period is to be selected.
    • A Button: Confirm time travel.

Battle

  • A Button: Selects options, confirms targets.
  • B Button: Cancels actions and backs out one menu tier.
  • Y Button: Switches dialogue box vertical position.
  • L ButtonFile:Arcade-Button-Plus.pngR Button: Hold to attempt to run. 100% chance of failure in Boss battles.

Playstation

Dialogue

  • Cross button: Continues dialogue.

  • Neutral dpad: Moves the character or cursor.
  • Triangle button: Opens the party/options menu.
  • Cross button: Interaction (talking, touching, taking) and confirmation (yes/no, etc.).
  • Square button: Open Character exchange screen
  • Circle button: Run, cancel actions, backs out one menu tier.
  • L1 button: Escape from battle (L1+R1)
  • R1 button: Escape from battle (L1+R1)
  • Start button: Pause game
