Rush Time is an event in Drift City that allows many players to work together to arrest a massive HUV, called a Boss HUV. Unlike a normal HUV chase, which allows only four players to work together, Rush Time allows every player in the same gate and city to work together. Rush Time offers many valuable items to participants, and three Mittron Enhancers to whoever scores the killing blow. Rush Time is currently only offered two or three times each day, and always on the hour.

Boss HUVs

During Rush Time, players must arrest one of five Boss HUVs that may appear. Players must arrest the HUV before 10 minutes pass or the HUV will escape and no one will be awarded the three Mittron Enhancers. Each Boss HUV behaves differently, and to save time arresting the HUV, learning how each one acts is essential. Each Boss HUV can emit a shockwave to toss nearby players into the air, but each has a unique weapon to slow down players behind it.

Doom Dozer

This Boss HUV is a large yellow bulldozer with a backhoe attachment in the front. The Doom Dozer will release mini-dozers, which are easy to defeat most of the time.

1337-APC

This Boss HUV looks like a six-wheeled tank with a tie-fighter (from Star Wars) attached to the rear. The attached weapon emits a wide green beam that throws players in the air.

The beam behind 1337-APC is very easy to avoid since you can see the outline of the beam if you're close enough. If the beam is turned on, do everything possible to stay away from it so you don't get tossed. 1337-APC also makes three beeps prior to emitting a shockwave. When you start hearing a beep, drive to the side of the road far away from 1337-APC and don't head back to it until the shockwave blast has finished.

Mad Mixer

This Boss HUV is a large mixer that drops large puddles of asphalt on the road, slowing players down.

Optimum Grime

This Boss HUV is a large 18-wheeler. After a certain amount of health is depleted, another HUV vehicle, known as "lil' Grimer", will detach from Optimus Grime, and will be involved in the chase.

Death Dumper

This Boss HUV looks like a massive dump truck with a huge side-oriented traffic light behind. Death Dumper drops barrels and boxes to slow players down.

The traffic light behind Death Dumper is a signal as to when it will dump boxes or barrels. When the light turns red or yellow, stay to the side of the road and watch out for boxes, barrels, and other players that don't know what to look out for.
