The Quest (1983)

The game contains the following riddle, and I am struggling to solve it. Google has no answer, either. Any suggestions?

Blue as the sky on a summer day,
Fresh as a field of just cut hay,
Deep as the pits beneath the fires of hell,
Clear as a note from a pure silver bell,
Still as a graveyard on a cold winter night,
Ruthless as a hawk in its death dealing flight,
As peaceful as a river that flows gently by,
The question to answer is: "What am I?"

WRONG ANSWERS (so far): water, lake, sea, ocean, lagoon, river, ice, sadness. Abacos (talk) 10:58, 31 August 2018 (UTC)

A well? -- Prod (talk) 13:07, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
No. After "well", I also tried wellspring, spring, source, abyss, rain. The sphinx says they are all wrong. Maybe the answer is unrelated to water? Abacos (talk) 14:51, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
Try SPHINX? -- Prod (talk) 18:13, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
I thought: "He is kidding, the sphinx is not blue nor fresh, and what it says is the very opposite of clear!". I tried and... it worked! This is real "thinking out of the box"! Thanks :) --Abacos (talk) 15:40, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
It makes perfect sense if you think about how Oedipus first encountered the sphinx. No matter which version of the riddle he encountered, it ends in the same typically way: "What am I?" EndymionMallorn (talk) 03:28, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Header Nav's swsquaread vs floatingtoc

Since swsquaread had been added to {{Header Nav}}, should {{floatingtoc}} be changed to float left by default? At present, if it floats right then the placement of the ad on the right can move it almost to the center of the page, and if it's longer than the ad then it creates empty space beneath the ad rather than have any text wrap around to fill that space.

Additionally, floatingtoc has been used on over 2,000 pages, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's done so to use the previously empty space beside it, particularly when it's long, not just for text but also for tables and images (maps): the addition of swsquaread will have affected the layout at the top of many of those pages. Onderduiker (talk) 00:23, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

I'm tempted to blank the template so it doesn't actually do anything. There's always the possibility the ad gets moved elsewhere in the next version of the skin and the template becomes useful again. -- Prod (talk) 01:27, 23 November 2018 (UTC)
Floatingtoc is still useful, since nothing can normally be placed beside a standard ToC and some, like on KotORII's Feats page, are so long that even with the new ad there's still plenty of empty space that could be used with a floatingtoc, regardless of whether it's on the left or right (although there'd be more useable space if it were on the left).
I'm planning to upload maps for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (and later its sequel) with numbers corresponding to ToC entries, instead of text labels like those currently on the map for the Command Module. {{KotOR/Header}} uses a floatingtoc so that it's alongside the map (or screenshot), like a key or legend: I've already reduced the image size to accomodate the ad, and since I use a guide-specific template, I could update it if you blanked floatingtoc (and possibly add introductory paragraphs and summary tables to fill the space beside the ad so that I could enlarge the image again alongside the floating ToC below)... but I'd be surprised if I'm the only one who's used floatingtoc in this way.
If the ad is necessary, then I'd suggest trying to move it to the sidebar on the left (perhaps above or below Tools?). If it stays where it is then I can work around it: it's not as bad as Wikia, where those ads have massive columns of empty space beneath them, for the entire page length. Onderduiker (talk) 20:19, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
Unfortunately, the left sidebar isn't wide enough, and making it wider would take up useful space from the content. Most likely, we'll keep it this way for some time, until the next skin refresh (whenever that happens). That is a good point about the floating toc, I guess it'll just be a matter of seeing where it's use becomes inappropriate. My concern for the very long tocs is that they block a huge column of space below the ad. -- Prod (talk) 21:41, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

List of "{{" references?

I acknowledge that I may well be missing something, but I've been looking at things, and I don't see a standardized list of things I can reference in curled brackets - things like Cross button, Xand the like. Where can I find an easy reference for all of these? EndymionMallorn (talk) 03:33, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Things in curly braces refer to templates. So for anything using the {{psx|?}} template, simply visit Template:Psx. Procyon 03:42, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
Thank you! Is there a simple-ish list of every template available? EndymionMallorn (talk) 04:12, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
You're probably looking for this: Category:Templates Procyon 04:25, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
Thank you, I really appreciate that! EndymionMallorn (talk) 11:51, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Image in the list of Uncategorized Files, but has Categories

This file: SM64 Bob-omb.png (SM64_Bob-omb.png)
Shows up on this page: Special:UncategorizedFiles
And yet it has the appropriate categories listed. I'm not sure exactly what the fix is here, could someone take a look? EndymionMallorn (talk) 11:51, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

I purged cache, and that seems to have fixed the problem. -- Prod (talk) 16:49, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
