You see a couple of establishing shots highlighting the influence on the Empire of Japan ever since opening its doors to the rest of the world, especially to the Great Britain. The cutscene then cuts to a mostly empty La Carneval and then BANG!! The hand of a dead man falls to the side from the gunfire as the attention of two of the restaurant's attendees and the waiter are grabbed to the direction of the shot. Last thing we're shown is the police coming inside the restaurant as we see a horrified Ryunosuke Naruhodo standing in front of the dead man with a pistol in his hand. Wait, but that'd be you! What is going on here?
