The medals you have earned are viewable in the History section of the second main menu. Medals are gained by meeting certain objectives many times. 3 medals can be earned for every specific objective. For example: when building tanks a separate medal will be earned after creating 50, 100, and 300 of them in total. These numbers are counted from all battles so don't worry about getting all of this done in one match. The beast way to earn medals in an even manner is working on beating Campaign Mode on all of its difficulty settings (which in itself will earn medals too).
Medals are divided into 4 categories
All: Overall statistics.
Units: Total units created by the player.
Foes: Total units destroyed by the player.
Items: Special Black Hole objects destroyed in Campaign Mode.
