Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire (referred to as Savage Empire for short) was originally released in 1990 for MS-DOS. It is a spin-off of the Ultima series, based on the same engine as Ultima 6.
Savage Empire is a role-playing game, as the rest of the Ultima series is. Because of the limited character development and the large amount of items, it has been sometimes classified as an adventure game.
