Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness is a port of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PSP. Many modifications have been made for the platform, including supporting the 16:9 screen. Ad-hoc wireless multiplayer is supported, making this the first Disgaea title with multiplayer support.
The game includes options for Japanese or English voices, disabling battle animations, and some of the voice acting and music has been changed. Additionally, there is a new story mode (Etna Mode). More bosses have been added, bringing in characters from other NIS titles.
