In Drift City, parts can have one or two special effects, which are shown in pink under a part's statistics. These effects are purely random.

Speed Increase

  • Text: "Increases speed attributes by X points."
  • Range: 2 to 9 points. Lower values are more common than higher values.
  • Note: Speed parts can also have this effect. A +13 speed part with a +2 speed increase effect is the same as a +15 speed part in terms of effectiveness.

Acceleration Increase

  • Text: "Increases acceleration attributes by X points."
  • Range: 2+ points. Lower values are more common than higher values.
  • Note: Acceleration parts can also have this effect. A +13 acceleration part with a +2 acceleration increase effect is the same as a +15 acceleration part in terms of effectiveness.
  • Note: Of the statistic increase effects, this effect is the most valuable. A part with a high value for this effect can sell for several thousand Mito depending on its level.

Durability Increase

  • Text: "Increases durability attributes by X points."
  • Range: 2+ points. Lower values are more common than higher values.
  • Note: Durability parts can also have this effect. A +13 durability part with a +2 durability increase effect is the same as a +15 durability part in terms of effectiveness.
  • Note: Of the statistic increase effects, this effect is the least valuable.

Boost Increase

  • Text: "Increases booster attributes by X points."
  • Range: 2+ points. Lower values are more common than higher values.
  • Note: Boost parts can also have this effect. A +13 boost part with a +2 boost increase effect is the same as a +15 boost part in terms of effectiveness.

Party Durability Increase

  • Text: "Increases durability attributes of all group members by X points."
  • Range:
  • Note: Durability parts can also have this effect. This effect can also stack with the Durability Increase effect.

Parts Drop

  • Text: "Increases chance of parts drop by X%."
  • Range: 4% to 9%
  • Note: This only affects chances to get parts level 1 to 25.
  • Note: Multiple parts with this effect have their percentages added together.

HUV Critical Hit

  • Text: "Improves chances of a critical crash to HUVs by X%."
  • Range: 3% to 9%.
  • Note: This is one of the more valuable effects. A 9% HUV part can sell for several thousand Mito depending on its level.
  • Note: Multiple parts with this effect have their percentages added together.

Speed Loss Reduction

  • Text: "Reduces the amount of speed decreased after a crash by X%."
  • Range:
  • Note: Multiple parts with this effect have their percentages added together.

Added Experience

  • Text: "Increases obtained exp. by X%."
  • Range:
  • Note: This is a very rare and valuable effect.

Fuel Capacity

  • Text: "Improves maximum fuel capacity by X%."
  • Range: 1% to 6%.
  • Note: This effect does nothing for improving fuel efficiency. Not worth very much.
  • Note: Multiple parts with this effect have their percentages added together.

Booster Time

  • Text: "Increases booster usage time by X seconds."
  • Range: 0.1 seconds to 2 seconds in increments of 0.1 seconds. Lower times are more common than higher times.
  • Note: Multiple parts with this effect have their times added together. Can be very useful in races with a long straightaway.

Max Speed Increase

  • Text: "Increases maximum speed by X mph."
  • Range:
  • Note: This is comparable to the speed stat. This effect is rarely ever seen, even in the Auction House.

Special Super Stop

  • Text: "Special super stop (Drift + Backward Button while driving)"
  • Note: You must have at least one part with this effect equipped in order to use Super Stop.
  • Note: This effect is commonly overpriced. Super Stop only decelerates about 1 second faster than decelerating normally.

Special Turbo Boost

  • Text: "Special turbo launch (Drift + Forward Button while stopped)"
  • Note: You must have at least one part with this effect equipped in order to use Turbo Launch.
  • Note: This effect is very rare and valuable. A level 1 part with this effect can sell for 5000 Mito and a level 55 part with this effect can sell for over 75000 Mito.
  • Note: A high-level part with this effect is one of the few cases when a Mittron Enhancer is worth using on a part to modify it.
